Very cozy, laidback burger joint with eclectic decor. It was a little crowded - obviously a very popular spot. Our server was attentive and quick to meet our needs. The food was fantastic - the house-made black bean burger was a godsend to a vegetarian such as myself. Portions were very generous for the price. We’d come back again if we were local!

The place looked great and was very inviting. It's an old gas station and has a beautiful fire pit. The food was solid but not impressive. You won't go wrong with whatever you order, but you won't brag about it either. The stage and kids play area was very loud and kids threw jinga blocks right next to us and were jumping from the stage to a flower bed by our table. Kids almost fell into our table and our dogs. The staff seemed ok with it.
Liz and Gabriel really made sure our party of 7 could see the Buccaneers play (horribly). Food and selection of beers was great.

Universal Joint in Clayton is always a good place to go enjoy a nice meal. Food is always good. Service is always good and prices are fair. Parking is street parking or parking behind the restaurant. This place is usually pretty busy. You can eat indoor or outside. Pets are welcome outside. They do have a small stage for music but we have never been there when there was music. Great atmosphere. Fun place to join friends or take friends who are visiting from out of town.
