Updated review: see original below.Still a great vibe, great coffee and treats. But the service fell off from last time. I have a pet peeve, I can’t stand to drink a latte from a paper cup. Today I was asked if I’d like it in a mug or a to go cup, I said mug, got to go cup. Coffee snobs (like me) know that you can’t just pour a latte from a paper cup into a mug. So I had my latte in the paper cup. Listen to your guests please.Original Review:Absolutely wonderful, quaint, and filled with character coffee shop. Everything you could want in a cute downtown coffee shop. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie.
The lavendar honey latte was one of the best I have had. I tried a different pastry each time, and every time I was pleased.The Almond cake, maple scone, and chocolate dessert were all very tasty. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and suggesting a pastry. Atmosphere was friendly.

Update: I took my mocha peppermint brownie home to eat and found a hair baked into it. Needless to say I’m taking away 3 stars because that’s just disgusting.Adorable and quaint bakery and coffeehouse in the heart of downtown Clayton. Lots of fresh bakery items and delicious coffee’s to choose from. The bakery items were humongous! They do offer Mobil ordering. Masks were required. The place was absolutely spotless. There were two rattling areas, one downstairs and one upstairs. Parking is available on the street and in a small parking lot right outside. Everything we had was very delicious and I can’t wait to return.

The best coffee I've had in Clayton! I tried the seasonal white chocolate pumpkin mocha because the barista recommended it, and it was sooo good. I also tried the oatmeal fudge bar and was seriously impressed. The shop's atmosphere is so cozy, and they have a little wine room and more towards the back. I'll likely stop in every time I'm in the area:)
