This was our go to place for breakfast. Sadly, Glendas has closed their doors for good. Such a shame.

Busy when we went by and busy when we came back through. This was the clue to stop by. Don’t hesitate to stop and patronize this jewel of a place. Great to see your waitress greeting the locals by name and the atmosphere of friendliness. Made me feel right at home. And the food…no complaints here. Best tasting steak I’ve had in a while. Could tell there’s heart and soul in it. Don’t know who Glenda is or was, but boy has she done a great job. Blessings!

We were not addressed until 20 minutes later when we got up to leave. There were only 3 tables in there at the time, and plenty of staff. However, our server made up for that by being apologetic, friendly, helpful, and good at her job. The food was delicious. The country fried steak was not the kind I have been craving for years, but most aren’t. I haven’t found one yet that truly hits the spot. It was not bad in the slightest sense, however. The steak was unexpectedly pretty good. If you’re craving steak, it may fill your craving, especially for the price. The amount of sides offered is incredible…I just remembered…changing my rating from 4 stars to 5. Their fried okra is great!

It was worth the drive. The greens and blackeyed peas were delicious. The pork chop was deep fried and surprisingly moist. They only cook to order so there is a wait. Be patient its worth it.

I've been coming here for years, the food is always great and the service is friendly. Just good home country food. Would recommend highly

Obviously not going to be a 5* restaurant, but that doesn't mean it's not delicious! We popped in with a group in between going to some wineries in the area. It was a great pit stop! So much comfort food you'll want to be rolled out the door. The onion petals were awesome and their sauce was perfect. I'd honestly just come back for those! Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had great service.

We stopped here on our way to consolidated gold mine in Dahlonega. We just made it before 11 when they stop serving breakfast and the waitress didn't hesitate to inform us that we had 1 minute to place our order before the cut off. Somehow, it didn't come off as rude... just her way and probably most folks' in the area. I kind of appreciate this no nonsense nature. We ordered eggs, French toast, biscuits and hash browns and were not disappointed. It was all very good. The biscuits were excellent. It is counter ordering and swift delivery to your table. No frills, just good food.

Absolutely loved it. Great service, amazing food. The place was absolutely packed an we still got great service. The only thing i didn't like was when we walked in no one greeted us an we stood there for a good minute there is no sign saying seat yourselves but I also know it was packed in there an they were doing the best they could

The wife and I hiked some trials nearby and were looking for some carbs. we had the pupper with us, so eating inside was not an option.Sadly I'm on the fence for this place. The food was ok/good and service was below (and there are signs all over saying "excuse our service, we're under staffed.")the wife and I shared:the bacon cheeseburger (thick burger, but just a typical burger in my opinion - wife thought is was pretty goodgood, even though we were asked how we wanted burger cooked and we answered medium, the burger was cooked beyond well done).Slaw dog (hot dog was good, slaw was ok. wife liked this best).Chilli dog (again good dog, chilli was good too. I liked this best. I didn't see any cheese even though I asked for it).Fries - meh... typical. The service? Even though there are signs printed asking for forgiveness due to short staffed, the food came out in a decent amount of time so it was fresh to order. Otherwise, the service was a bit on the bad side.I guess we weren't expected to make a mess ordering food through the drive through. we didn't get a napkin or eating utensil (slaw, chilly? really?). And then we were asked to move from the window to the doors as to "not block the drive through." Done as instructed, but that wasn't good enough, we needed to move again to...... "not block the drive through."let's just count how many came through the drive through while we waited...............if you guessed none - you win!

We went today for lunch. Family of 6. We were waiting patiently for a big enough table. Several booths were open. A wonderful family of 4 was seated at a 6 top table and had just ordered there drinks. They offered to move to a booth so we could have the big table. The waitress told them no that we could wait. Rude is an understatement. Needless to say we went to another establishment that was very good and had manners. if you dont want business then dont open the doors. Would never grace their doors again.

Rainy night in Georgia but a great dinner experience. The fried chicken and okra were delicious. Hot and fresh. Great southern cooking with a lot of options.

Solid diner style breakfast. Order at the counter. Biscuits and gravy were good. Self-serve coffee. Ham was a bit overcooked. Overall a decent stop for breakfast.

Don’t miss out on the fried pork chop and gravy! The sweet potato was great as well. Great service from friendly staff. ??

We had breakfast. The biscuits put many other places to shame. My egg and cheese biscuit was wonderful and bigger than I could eat. Yummy goodness with fluffy eggs and a melting piece of cheese. It doesn't get any better. My hubby had pancakes he described as delicious. They even had a super good sugarless maple syrup. I had to have part of his bacon since it was cooked to perfection exactly as we asked. Glenda's is not elegant dining but IS country cooking at its best. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. What more could you ask for.
