Rib Country BBQ (Cleveland, GA)

They screwed up my order. When I brought it back in they tried to take it because I got “more shrimp” than what I actually ordered. No apology. No nothing that even resembled anything remotely close to good customer service.
As someone who has worked in the service industry ? I have ZERO tolerance for poor customer service.

Whoever is the manager of this place needs to be better trained so they can train their staff better. When someone tells you they’re missing items from their order, the first thing you do is apologize and make it right. You don’t demand the customer to bring the food back in so you can THROW AWAY the two extra shrimp that came with the order you screwed up. I would fire every one of them.

My brisket could have been hotter along with baked potato. Food was very tasty.

Visiting GA stopped by this place to check it out around 6 pm on Saturday. They close at 9 pm. We wanted to try some Home style barbecue. My husband was looking forward to having the brisket but they ran out so that was disappointing. We ended up having the full rack of ribs with coleslaw, baked beans and homemade potatoe salad. Everything was delicious, ribs fall off the bone. The service was good and overall would return to this location. We happen to visit the one in Murphy NC and definitely the food was not as enjoyable so location does matter in my experience.

Great food! Sometimes you have to wait a little BUT that’s everywhere. Brisket is not microwaved sliced crap. It’s BRISKET!!! Come here and add Rib Country to your list of favorite places to eat.

This hidden gem was recommended by many locals. The overall recommendation was the brisket; the wet brisket to be exact. I’m a hard sale on brisket but this was a run off win for the best brisket ever. The sides included LOADED twice baked potatoes salad and fried green tomatoes. Since I was from the south, I was a little skeptical of the Fried green tomatoes. House put to rest after the first one, they were crispy, salty, and citrusy. The loaded twice baked potato salad with something on its own. It was almost like a luxury appetizer, all the complex flavors are twice baked potato, but just as good refrigerator as fresh. If you’re staying anywhere near the Helen or Gainesville area, the 20 minute ride is well worth The customer service and food you get.10\\10 Food, 10 out of 10 customer service and THE BEST peach cobbler ever. Sorry Nanny if you see this, but this is a must go place. This is Off of the main drain and away from the vacation parts but just close enough if you’re on vacation.

17.51 for very small portion of chicken it did have two sides but I left hungry way too much for such a small portion

Extremely overpriced and they clearly don’t pay attention to orders. We ordered a CHOPPED brisket sandwich (on my receipt) and got sliced. We ordered an extra side because at $5.20 and based off review pictures, we assumed the sides were large. Very wrong. Popeyes has bigger small sides. Keep it moving down the road to somewhere else.

Meat was very dry and had a lot of burnt outside meat that you could not eat. My French fries were cold when they were brought to the table had to have been cooked and sitting in a warmer. Would not be going back. Very nice building.

Delicious BBQ! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the brisket was tender, smoky, and just the right amount of juicy. Great food and a spot I’d definitely come back to.

I had the lunch chicken plate. Chicken was done perfectly and not dry at all. Service was fast and friendly. Restroom was as clean and spacious as Buc-ee's.

It has a gravel parking lot so be careful if you're on a motorcycle.
