Beautiful location near Blood Mountain on scenic US Highway 19. Very busy place with limited parking, but worth it for the food!
Read from a review that there were some good fried pickles and they had to be the best I ever had. And over all great food great service 10/10 would recommend

Awesome.
Always a fine meal and friendly staff there. Those Green Beans rock!
Great local spot. Lots of motorcycles - because the roads around here are amazing. Try the pork rinds.
What a wonderful stop!!! The staff made us feel like we were stopping in to see an old friend. No wait, sat outside on a lovely day, and the food came out delicious!!! Definitely do get the peach slaw it's fantastic
Eat here!
Service was great and lunch couldn’t have been better. The trout was perfect. Lightly seasoned, pan seared, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. We had a great time visiting with locals and eating on the patio with our dog.
Service was so slow. Server was great but very overwhelmed. No one to help her and it was busy. Not her fault but management should have stepped in. I asked for my burger very well done no pink! Burger was almost raw , Server said if I sent it back I would have to wait for the other orders she just put in… why? It wasn’t done the way I asked in the first place. This place could have potential if they had more employees or others stepped in to help. We were a group of 6. Several people walked out. Thursday at 1:00.
With a group of 4 motorcyclists, including myself. We were told to find a table for our ourselves. Food was just ok. When I received my bill, I saw that there was a charge for .50 cents for a cup of tap water in a styrofoam cup. I asked the waiter about this and was told by him, “I dunno, that’s just what they do”. I asked to speak with the manager. She eventually came to our table and told me that the charge was for the cost of the cup. In what world is a styrofoam cup .50 cents!? She basically told me, “too bad”. I have been to restaurants all over the world and have never been charged ANYTHING for a cup of tap water! I paid the bill for the cup of water, but due to the manager’s attitude and lack of concern, I will never eat at this place again.
I drive past this place all the time and have always wondered if it’s any good. I stopped in tonight with my fiance and we enjoyed it. They had Friday night karaoke going. I got the pulled pork melt with mac and cheese. So good! I can’t wait to come back on a nice summer evening.

If you're ever in the North Georgia Mountains at the intersection of two highways in the middle of nowhere, Turner's Corner is a place to stop and have an excellent meal with a view. It is frequented by explorers, hikers, and motorcyclists. It's not uncommon to see a dozen motorcycles or sports cars outside the restaurant. The windy roads of the mountains are driven just for fun. Families are also commonly seen in this restaurant, enjoying the day out at the local attractions of waterfalls, hiking, and camping.
We had a late lunch here on a Saturday. we're able to walk straight in without any hesitation. We did wait a few minutes on one of the tables on the patio to be cleared for us to sit at, but there is plenty seating inside if you wanted to sit inside. The day was nice, so we decided to sit on the patio that overlooked the river.
Parking in this place can be a problem because of its popularity. This is the best restaurant in the North Georgia Mountains if you're up trying to do hikes or waterfalls at the intersection of 129 and 19, Turner's is a common destination.
Even though we sat right down, it takes about 5 minutes to get a menu, and we ordered our drinks first. 15 minutes later, we still didn't have our drinks yet. The waitress was very nice and apologized and said that the drinks would be on her since they were so late and arriving. Although when we got the check, the drinks were still on there. No big deal, but don't say it if you're not going to do it.
There are daily drink specials from the full open bar. They have a large selection of beer and wine to choose from as well. The big giant pretzel is soft and savor and comes with your choice of dipping Sauces. It's said to be a local favorite and big enough to share with the entire table.
We had Tavern Tasters appetizers, a sampler plate appetizer, and we chose jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks, and fried mushrooms. Our order came out piping hot and very delicious. Of the three, the jalapeno poppers were the best to our tastes. They were not too hot for even the most timid heat eater good to tolerate them.
For our entrees, we had the Riverside rainbow with Brunswick stew and potato salad sides. The trout had excellent flavor and was very tasty, although it seemed a bit salty. The Brunswick stew had good flavor to me, though as with many of the other reviews, it seemed like it had too many tomatoes and a bit sour.
The other entree was the papa bear, 10 oz of seared chopped steak cooked medium rare to order. When it came out, the medium rare was the right temperature in color. The grilled onions and mushrooms on top add a significantly to the flavor. I wanted to try this side of peach slaw, which is basically coleslaw with peaches in it. After all, it is Georgia, right? ? the peaches added a good sweetness to the flavor, so I enjoyed it. The onion rings I had for the side were hot, and the batter was crispy and very tasty to add to the flavor of the papa bear chopped steak.
Don't forget desert, the pecan pie I had to take to go but couldn't resist since pecan pie is one of my favorites.
The food, overall, was much better than what you would expect from the Roadside Tavern type bar and grill. Once we were finally able to put in an order, the food came out quickly and properly cooked. The portions were large, and they were all served up hot.

In town for a wedding and stopped in for lunch with my girlfriend. What a gem of a tavern. We had some great conversations with the owner Darrin and fellow patrons sitting at the bar. Food was fantastic. Excellent Saturday afternoon watching some football. Go Dawgs!! Thanks for your great southern hospitality. Highly recommend!!

This very friendly place had awesome food! We came with our dog and sat outside and was immediately greeted and asked if our dog wanted some water. We had pretzel with beer cheese and pulled pork sandwiches. Fries and peach coleslaw were excellent as well!

I sat in my car so long next to this place that google thinks I visited there. The road crew was making people wait literally 30 mins to get through. I was very annoyed.
