The Diner Mountain Lakes

I need to edit my original 5 star review. I would now give a minus zero if I could.
I am not sure what has happened to one of our favorite breakfast places. Staff has changed. Kitty and others are gone and the good food went with them. We took family that were in town to breakfast a couple of weeks ago and breakfast was absolutely not good. Scrambled eggs came out like brown roasted fried eggs. My husband’s normal omelette was greasy and not good. Biscuits not as good and pitiful piece of small dry sausage in the biscuit. Pancakes not as good. I could go on and on. Someone has made a major mistake and we will not be back till we see some messages from whoever in management made this major bad decision. We had to apologize to our family guests for the awful breakfast because we had told them we had been going for a couple of years since we moved to the area and never had a bad breakfast or dinner.

Everything we ordered was awful. Omelet was terrible and not much in it. Biscuits and gravy awful especially biscuit. Home fries burnt very bad. Took forever for them to get it to us and I should have taken it back and asked for a refund and went elsewhere. I don't like posting stuff like this but people need to know not to go there until they get people that can cook and be good at their job......

I don’t know what has happened at the Diner but everything has changed for the worse! Where is Kitty and her amazing team? My food Friday night was terrible! No one is welcoming or helpful anymore! She always made sure your food was correct and good. She always made sure you had everything you needed and wanted! She also had an amazing personality! Mountain Lakes has really made a big mistake letting her go!! I guess I’ll have to start cooking at my campsite and I don’t like that! I go camping to get away from everything and that includes cooking. I’m not a happy camper anymore!!! Miss you Kitty❤️

Very simple country diner in an RV resort. Such fun people and incredible food and desserts!

Nice people with good food

Small little dive in a recreational village. Very simple food but it was good and large portions. The women working there were very polite and helpful. It is nothing fancy by any means but simple and good food.

Me and my grandson came here to eat and it took at least 45 minutes for are food and when we got are food my food was like eh not to good but my grandsons food was worse. His chicken was just warmed up Tyson or Perdue chicken and the fries had almost no seasoning. There’s just no way this place is 4.9 stars

The people are great.

It was a very happy, cozy place to have lunch. Good burgers. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great little lake resort diner. No frills just good people and good food.

Everyone is so nice at the diner n the specials are always so tasty if you want some tasty treats then you need to come out and try them soon.

Took our mom this morning to breakfast for mother's day. Wonderful food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Off the beaten path restaurants are always wonderful!!
