I was told about this place by a buddy that lives in Cochran and finally got to try it, the folks that work here are super friendly and are happy to serve you, the food was amazing fresh and hot, and I was shocked at what all you get for the price of the meal, this place is what you would call a true soul food restaurant!I will definitely try and make this place my go to when I’m in Cochran! Not the best. The mac and cheese was cold and didnt taste very good. The black eyed peas where like mush and the baked chicken was way over cooked and dry. I will say I did enjoy the piece of fried chicken it had a good crust and flavor and the greens where good. I don’t think it will make my list of regular stops.
Nice country buffet nestled in Cochran. The staff, especially the cashier, were plain lovely to be around. The same can be said for the food. A relaxing, nice place to be after college classes. Reminds me of Grandma's place.
