Bole Ethiopian Restaurant

Great food and great service.

One of the best Ethiopian restaurants in the area. We looked it up on google and was pleasantly surprised. Food and service was great! Some of you reading this don’t know if you will like Ethiopian food. Imagine great southern green beans, collard greens, sweet potatoes, corn with bread. It’s great!

The food is amazing no complaints. The service is poor. I called in my order the person in the phone said 20 minutes. I’ve ordered this way before I live about 10 minutes from the place. Every time I order the food is not done when I arrive even if I come later than they suggested. No big deal. This time i purposely came much later. So let’s say they said 20 minutes I came an hour plus late expecting my food to be ready to go. I pay by card for the food tip really good on a takeout order and the bar waitress says “they are packing your food now”. I asked her “why is the food always late?” She told me the food is done they just pack it once you arrive so that it is not soggy and that it would be no more than 5 minutes. I wait and wait others with DoorDash and ouch up orders are getting their food. I get angry and ask what is going on and I wanted a refund at this point. The young lady finally admits they gave my food away. Horrible experience I will not be eating here again. Sucks because the food is amazing and it’s close to my house but them wasting my time constantly then blaiming me is crazy. 0 stars for timeliness

The restaurant is inviting, accommodating, and comfortable. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The food was overall tasty. However, when we ordered the double platter, I expected to have double-sized portions of each veggie and not just a double-sized plate with single-portioned veggies scattered.

Everything on the sampler was good. ? The veal and beef were awesome. Probably the best lentils I've ever had. The other veggie dishes were also good. The establishment is also very spacious and well decorated.
