I went to the Krispy Krunchy Chicken location on today. I ordered chicken tenders and my husband ordered chicken wings. My tenders were hard and very dry. My husband’s chicken wings were dry and old with a taste of old grease. We also had fries they were not completely cooked. The biscuit was suppose to be a honey buttered biscuit. There was no honey nor butter. I wasted $22 dollars. I generally go to the South Fulton location. The food is cooked fresh and the food is good. Lesson learned stick with what you know. Disgusting and a waste of time and money.

This chicken was on point. The $$ are just a little over priced. I spent $8.00 on 3 chicken legs but it was worth it.

Chicken from a gas station/convenience store doesn't seem like the best place to get a good meal, but this place fries up chicken better than most of the local chicken restaurants and all of the local chicken chains. Matter of fact, if it can be fried they'll drop it in a big ole grease filled fryer and cook it until it's crisp and golden brown. Be sure to pay attention to the menu though. If you rattle off a bunch of stuff you want rather than using the combo wording as on the menu then you'll pay the a-la-cart total rather than the lower combo prices. Stick to the combos and it's a pretty decent deal.
dis da spot n dey take food stamps
This is some of the best fried chicken I’ve had! Not heavy on the breading and super moist inside. Just enough spice.
Okay, strictly speaking, this is gas station fried chicken. Those who know me know that I don't do reviews of fast food restaurants or even chain restaurants unless there is a compelling reason, which quite frankly in the case of fast food and chains, that's usually a bad thing. Today however I am pleased to report that the Krispy Krunchy Chicken counter in the back of the gas station on the corner of Moody and Highway 96 is worth the stop. Hell, it's worth going out of your way for. Not having the faintest idea what to order I played it safe and went for 4 Tenders and a Biscuit, and added a side of Wedges. The chicken was $5.32 and the order of Wedges kicked it up to $8 and change, still below standard lunch costs anywhere. The wedges were battered and fried to perfection, and while in retrospect I wish I had opted for Rice and Beans to lower the "fried quotient" they were definitely damn good. But the star of the show was the "Krispy Krunchy Chicken". Let me start by saying these 4 "tenders" were massive, each one the size of a very respectable boneless chicken breast. The batter on them, which I confess was not in any way spicy to me as "cajun" would imply, was delicious and very krispy as the name implies. They offered a variety of sauces but I used honey (I happen to love a drizzle of honey on my fried chicken). The thing is, for $5.32 you could feed two normal adults (although admittedly probably only 1 college age male) because the size of the potion is just out of this world, and exceeded only by the tasty moist deliciousness of the chicken. And oh yeah the biscuit, not a tray biscuit like most places, this was a drop biscuit, and baked Krispy as well, although the inside was light like a cloud. The exterior was painted with melted butter and I detected the slightest trace of sweetness there too, so maybe just a smidge of honey in that butter. Listen, I love fried chicken (who doesn't?) and I've had some very good and also some very bad chicken, and these tenders were among the best the world can produce, and I simply don't care that they're frying it up in the back of a gas station. Get ya' some and waste no time.
