This is NOT lunch on main!!!!! There was one waitress and Service was very very slow. The food is not the same. Tasted like veggies came out of the can and it is very expensive. I would not recommend. Save your time and money!Peace

I loved it here when it was in Hapeville before it moved to McDonough. Made a stop specifically to eat in a weekday flying back into Hartsfield. A little off the interstate with plenty of parking on a main drag in College Park. I was just okayed. They didn't have the hot chicken salad so I got the hamburger steak with Lima beans and squash casserole. They seemed short staffed so rolls/cornbread came late (after I got my dinner). I would describe all of it as "fine" - not bad but not memorable. I'd pop in again because the servers were nice and the food was okay. I think with tighter service and less pre-prepared food at warm I'd like it.

Food was good but was crazy expensive and I was not provided an itemized bill. Almost $60 for two for lunch after tax and tip. The overall vibe of the place is just odd and desperately needs to be remodeled.

Tasty breakfast of classic Southern staples. Great service. Excellent coffee. Open on weekends which is not a given in this area. Recommended!

The food was great! Beef tips over rice. Macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. And the corn muffins were wonderful! And warm! ? Great service too. And very clean. I will be back!

This restaurant is definitely a cool southern dining experience. Maybe I'm a little biased here since they host some of my favorites, like country fried steak and fried green tomatoes. Whether you make it here for breakfast or lunch or supper, you're bound to be pleased at the tasty and generous bounty, as well as the timely service and the small but charming atmosphere. It's one of many lovely eateries in a very nice area.

Great food, simple old-school spot. Love the breakfast! Service is a little slow but very friendly.

This review isn't about the food. It's about money.Several months ago, I objected to a bill because it had been slightly padded. I stopped going to the restaurant for about 6 months until this week because of it. Today, the second time I've been back, I got took.I ordered eggs & meat for $8.50 and a cup of coffee ($2.00). Those were the prices WRITTEN DOWN on the ticket. My server cashed me out, asked about what tip I wanted ($2.50) and gave me the receipt. The charges for the meal were $15, bringing the total to almost $17.50.I decided to say nothing, given the history, because I will NEVER go back, but for you locals who might have an elderly relative who goes there regularly, be careful. The staff is either entirely unable to do basic math or she's sizing you up to get took. And if all this is due to "menu printing" issues, Frank & Maritza, this is what you get for not updating your menus. But your staff used those numbers on the check, so that excuse won't work.NEVER AGAIN. I'M GONE.

Was craving some veggies, and hit up M&Fs. Gotta say, Frank was ON IT! The fried chicken (sorry, diet) was awesome, as were the limas and the collards. I'll not wait as long between visits next time, but will definitely have to put in time on the bike to make it balance out!

What a gem of a place! No frills — the focus is the food and the service, where it should be. The food was delicious (some of the best biscuits I’ve ever had) and the staff was friendly. You wait a bit for food but it’s worth it as it’s all made from scratch. Felt like a warm, family-run spot with a lot of history and pride. We went for breakfast but are anxious to go back for their incredible daily lineup of southern dinner and veggie staples. We will return for sure!

If you are the mood for authentic southern cuisine, look no further. The atmosphere is small & homey which only adds to the experience. And to top it off, the staff is so friendly & accommodating. We had a large party (14). They rearranged the back room so we could all sit together.I shall return!

No-nonsense southern eating. Food was very good. They aren't immune to the current staffing and supply chain issues, so they were out of a few items, but everything we ended up with was great
