“Solid 3.9 for the spot. Salsa is amazing for a house salsa and I eat all over Texas. They have done a nice job with the place, great dining environment. The food portion is average and well composed. The dishes like burritos and enchiladas are mostly without standard sides of rice and beans. The effort is there but the location and prices to me are 3-5$ per dish higher than expected or I was prepared for and should be considered. Staff is friendly and works through language barriers.“

I happened upon this treasure while attending a convention in Atlanta and I would literally fly back to Atlanta just to shop at the magnificent, unique and completely interesting store. Then, treat myself to dinner in the most spectacular upstairs dining room. The downstairs café and outdoor patio are also fantastic! I experienced impeccable service from Luke, who is passionate about the cafe & restaurant. Plus, the food & drinks were delicious! Then, when I walked through the other part of the building to the shop, I was honored to meet one of the owners and hear how they fell in love with the furniture pieces and art pieces from local artists in various places in Mexico. “We came to Atlanta for a competition and decided to pop in and try some local restaurants Tin Lizzy Cantina. OMG the best guac fresh chips salsa and the steak Philly tacos the bomb. Not sure why their rating is lower but I know you can’t please everyone. I give them 10/10 OGG was our waitress so friendly, the down home atmosphere if you come to Atlanta and don’t come eat here. Management/ owner needs to wake up and hire more help though, and pitch in themselves. The bathrooms need attention as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how many options the menu offered. We had the carne asada and Chilean sea bass for our main courses—both were flavorful and beautifully presented. One of my favorite touches was the birthday card already waiting on the table, and they brought out a treat with a candle without us even having to ask. The service was thoughtful and attentive. “It may not be fancy, but it's consistent, reliable, and delicious! I've been to Taqueria Del Sol many many times, but realized I hadn't reviewed. Popped in the other night for a quick bite and we barely sat down before the cheese dip showed up followed less than 3 bites later by the tacos. The Sloppy Jose is one of my faves, but really I haven't had a taco there that I didn't like. Chips are nice and crispy and keep for a day or so if you bring extra home. Plenty of parking and a decent-sized patio.“

“We discovered this restaurant on a whim and are so happy we visited. This is our new favorite spot. The food was a 100/10 and I'm not even kidding. The Costra is now my FAVORITE type of taco. Nick and his team's service was amazing. We appreciated his conversation, jokes, and overall hospitality-- to me, that is just as important as the food being good. It goes a long way and makes me want to recommend El Santo Gallo to all of my friends. The restaurant is cute and vibrant and the color scheme + decor is very inviting and appealing. I meant to leave this review a few weeks ago, but we ate here again today, and listen, the food and service was just as great as it was the first time-- so now we know they're consistent!

The restaurant is in the back corner of El Amigo Supermarket. I arrived in the early afternoon on a weekday and there were a few people there. I was able to order right away and decided to have a torta and a coke. After I had paid the nice lady at the register asked if I wanted chips and salsa - at first I was confused because I had already ordered and paid and the place didn’t seem like the kind of table service restaurant where you’d usually get that complimentary, but it was! Nice touch.

My torta was delicious. It also had lettuce tomato and avocado on it which wasn’t indicated on the menu but were welcome additions. Fresh and packed with ingredients, I did not leave hungry.

Great service, great taste, good value. Definitely recommend.“
