I appreciate the low prices and the wonderful service, but the food was not good. My husband and I ordered a beef patty, a spinach patty, curry chicken with the bone and a veggie dish with chickpeas and rice. The curry chicken was appalling. Even when they opened the box to show me before leaving the store, it didn’t look good, but I didn’t put much thought it. It ended up tasting the way it looked, flavorless and dry. The spinach patty was the worse I’ve had, but the beef patty was great. My husband’s food wasn’t too bad. The seasoning was on point and was slightly spicy. I would try his dish. Maybe I’ll try something different if we return.

$7.99 lunch special was amazing and the food was real good . After taxes $8.69 …… It had a spicy kick to it felt like I was on an island in Jamaica eating. The staff was real friendly with smiles on their face and very helpful in me choosing my selection. I had boneless curry chicken with rice and broccoli.The plate was big enough to share it with someone and still get full . No complaints and I’m actually mad at myself for not coming here sooner .

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. Best Caribbean food in Atlanta hands down! Highly recommend. My favorite dish is the chicken pasta however everything is good!!!

I have been coming to this restaurant for 20+ years…those who know, know the slim man at the counter is the absolute best worker they have. However since he only works weekends, the new counter staff SUCKS!! Gushad should be terminated immediately. I will never spend another coin at this establishment. Bring back the old people and the great customer service!!

My family and I have been dining here for years and they never disappoint! We've been using uber eats lately because it's so convenient. Portions are great. We always get the oxtails, brown stewed chicken and chicken roti. The beef patties are the bomb too. Great and consistent food!!! Again I say Consistent!!!

OMG.. what has happened with Tropical?The curry chicken is disgusting. The greens are also disgusting.. my last time patronizing topical. I knew something was off when i walked in and the place looked deserted but my concerns were eased when i say the man who manages the front there.. so disappointed..
