Walked in at 6:45pm on 5/18 and was told by an employee across the restaurant that they were “closing in 6 minutes.” It was confusing, as no further context was offered and the posted hours listed 8pm. We ended up leaving without our order being taken.

After posting this, I heard directly from the owner, who graciously explained the situation: the location was unexpectedly short-staffed and had to close early due to reasonable circumstances. While the communication at the time could have been better, I really appreciated the follow-up and transparency. Hoping for a smoother visit next time.

They should serve more food on the order. Food is tasty however didn't serve enough for the price.

I love this place! So much better than chipotle m. Anywho, They deliver now , I guess. Which I was excited about, food got here yesterday. Steak was burned like black burnt. Rice was hard! I’ve been going to this place since 2019 and I’ve got to say they’ve finally disappointed me. Other than that their food is always delicious.UPDATED 05/13/2025 : Ordered pick up …disappointed once again, I only get 30 minutes for my break ordered my food at 12:53pm just to get there at 1:19 and it wasn’t made yet so I wasted my whole entire break waiting for them to make my order. This location SUCKS! Terrible!!!

Rice tasted like it was dipped in a dishwasher, protein I ordered tasted fake. they barely fill up their plates. They are acting like chipotle now. I’ll rather go somewhere else.

This is the only barberitos I'll go to. They load you up with toppings and really hook you up. They are so nice and friendly. I love taking my kids on Mondays for kids eat free

Several guys working but only one preparing orders and cashing people out without ever changing his gloves. Box of basket liner papers fell off the top of the glass into a bowl of shredded cheese and the guy just picked up the box and sat it back on top of the glass and kept preparing orders. Myself and several people ahead of me walked out. 🤮

Short staffed. This doesn't help when you are supposed to be cooking fresh. Out of salsa out of black beans. Queso is so old the worker has to ask if it was alright to serve it. The 2 workers are busting their butts though

Did not have fish on fish taco Friday. If you only serve something one day a week you need to keep it in stock. Only reason I was given was manager did not show up today. Disappointing after long drive!!

Use to love this place not no more. 20 minutes waiting for food, lots of items are missing, no spicy chicken, no beans. It wasn’t even close to the closing time, so idk what’s their problem. After 20 minutes and lots of struggle we got very much burned quesadilla lol don’t recommend it, you can make it at home better

Edit: I’ve since gone back to barberitos a few times and the management has turned things around. Food is great as it always was. Service is good as is the availability of ingredients. Glad to have barbs back in action!

I used to love this barberitos. I used to rave about it when out of town as a contrast to chain locations. In the last several months I’ve tried it several times only to find it closed at 7pm on a weekday well within its working hours and out of critical ingredients (chips, chicken, and beef on one visit). I live downtown and will drive to the chipotle on Macon to avoid this location. I really wish they’d get back to serving the food they advertise at the hours they advertise. It’s frustrating to count on them being open and serving their menu when they advertise they will and learning they’ve all left for the day 2 hours before closing or they have no ingredients to make burritos/bowls. I miss barberitos being a real step up above chain locations, but it’s a model that has better ingredients and better burritos with a clear miss on execution. I miss barberitos when it was great.

I ordered a protein bowl. They had absolutely no toppings just meat and cheese. They didn’t have lettuce, spinach, pico, corn pico, guacamole, tomatoes, sour cream anything. I then proceeded to ask for avocados this person working behind the counter dared to tell me that's going to be extraaaa!!! Excuse me!! I explained that I felt like that wasn't good customer service. Their response was “ Our night crew didn't prep and everything was made fresh”. Myself and my party of 2 walked out with nothing.

First timer - I ordered a burrito off of GrubHub as a pickup order...yeah I know weird but I get a monthly use it or lose it credit.

Biggest freaking burrito ever....straight up monster! And super yummy and the included chips were a pleasant surprise.
