The vibes here are AMAZINGGG, the people are super nice and the food is so good. I get the same thing every time but me and my mom always get different appetizers. I highly recommend this place its great for a nice Sunday brunch especially when you sit outside.

The food was good but not outstanding. Additionally, the menu did not have the variety that you were lead to believe via the website and other reviews. There was nothing that stood out as amazing in our meal and the service was a little disorganized.

We really enjoyed the food, service, and ambience. The bacon, salmon, and sweet potato bites were the best. Strong good coffee. It is tight quarters with other diners sitting very close, but otherwise no complaints!

Have had the pleasure of eating at Bare Roots on quite a few different occasions. Food has always been superb and the service has been excellent! Menu is very diverse and the specials offer a nice variety. The Sputnik Spiked Iced Coffee is absolutely delicious!

I came in on a Thursday morning and was the only customer at the restaurant. I ordered the Southern Eggs Benedict, it was a little odd when the waiter asked me how I wanted my eggs (with the options of scrambled and sunny side up. Hello, it's a Benedict aka poached). Anyway, they took about 20 minutes to bring out the dish. It was just ok - the ham was extremely salty and it overpowered the other flavors. I think this would have been better balanced if there was more hollandaise sauce, and runnier eggs. It seemed like there was only a teaspoon of hollandaise added to the biscuit, and unfortunately the eggs yolk were over cooked like a hardboiled egg. The meal was very dry and difficult to eat

Extremely disappointed... we came to Bare Roots because it popped up on my google search and in their reviews that they had Whole30 compliant dishes. The menu on google says that the Broccoli salad is Whole30 compliant. When asked about different dishes that meet the restrictions of Whole30 the waitress had no idea and had to go ask the cook/ manager and seemed very annoyed by my questions. So for anyone making a trip here because they think they have Whole30 compliant dishes or that they are knowledgeable with what is in the food or what it is cooked with look for a different option.

The second time was fair- I ordered the pimento cheese biscuit, which was good, but they were VERY skimpy on the pimento cheese sauce. The third time was not great. I ordered my burger well done and was only able to have a few bites around the edge because the middle was pink. Also, the sweet potato bites I got as a side were warm and cooked, but not as crispy as I expected them to be. This last time was great! I met my friend for brunch and it was lovely! I had the Southern Eggs Benedict and a grapefruit mimosa. So I definitely recommend this place for breakfast/ brunch. I think this is what they excel in. The lunch/ dinner could use some improvements in my opinion.

Get yourself together. I really want to like this clean eats place but daaaang it should not take that long for a sandwich
