My first time here & it was amazing! The Catfish & Grits were top tier. My fiance had the Mardi Gras Pasta & she was stuffed, she said it was good. I finished it off with some Peach Bread Pudding! Also, the mimosas were good as well.. they have Mango & Watermelon as well as a classic one!
I lived in Louisiana for a while as a young man and developed a real fondness for the cuisine. When I get the urge, I know that I can always find authentic cajun fare at Cafe Le Rue.
Great food and service. The gumbo was great, fresh and hot. The upside down pineapple cake and cream was good also. Enjoyed good clean place to dine. Also the 96 score definitely helps too.
