Service is great, lady working behind the counter is on point and super nice.
But the food was the issue. Both the Fish and Chicken were off, as in bad.
The fish smells like fish, but the added rotting armpit added to it made it inedible. The chicken was the exact same way, it was inedible because of the smell and flavor.
Either someone let the fish and chicken set out longer than it should have or the the batter they are using hasn’t been changed at all. Hush Puppies were fine. The shrimp was fine. But I’ll never return. I had a Long John silver craving and this is all we have here. I ate some of the fish and chicken, if I get sick I’ll know why.
Check your fish and chicken whoever reads this, it’s rotten, as in the health department is getting a phone call rotten.
We won’t get that $30 back.

Haven't been here in years. But I love chicken tenders. So I decided to give them a try.
Well when I tell you, they did not disappoint. AT ALL.
When I got to the box to order my food, I knew what I wanted and the lady on the other end, understood me well. She was very friendly and nice and didnt get my order wrong. When I got to the window, she was still polite and made sure I got what I needed for my food. When I open my box..... BABBBBY. MY FOOD WAS HOT, FRESH AND DELICIOUS 😋 😍.
I will be returning. The service was great and so was the food.

On Friday, October 24th 2025 I stopped by Captain D’s on Manchester Expressway. It was very busy but I was blown away by the level of professionalism and customer service by Jereth. He was training two new employees which meant he had to run the front to help the new employee and then run to the kitchen to help the other employee. He went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction, and I can confidently say that he and Captain D’s on Manchester Expressway has earned a lifelong customer. Although he had to help everywhere he remained calm, friendly, and polite. His customer service was one of the best I have ever seen. I recommend any and everyone to go see Jereth on Manchester Expressway you won’t regret it. Jereth keep being amazing, friendly, and kind.
