Very disappointed with Gen Tso's meal. Chicken was overcooked & dry. Hot sour soup was good but small portion.

yea this was not it and the funny thing is i asked a guy who was waiting for his food how it was and he gave it great reviews. lol this food tasted like chinese buffet food and they trying to serve it like fine dining. we’ll maybe for these country folks in columbus Ga but this is definitely more of a buffet style restaurant. The customer service was great tho but yea i think it’s time to shut down because the bathroom was horrible and smelled very bad and all of the furniture is way out dated maybe back in the 60s it was the place to be

Lunch today was my favorite: Hunan Shrimp. I've told my wife that if I was ever asked what I would want as my last meal, I'd pick Chef Lee's Hunan Shrimp! It consistently hits the spot. Also the dine in atmosphere at Chef Lee's always pleases my eyes. I love the etched glass, carved wood, and decorations. My server Wayner did a great job of making sure I got my order and checked back to make sure it was great and to see if I needed anything else. Chef Lee's is my favorite restaurant for Chinese food in the Chattahoochee Valley.

The food is delicious and the staff was great. I’ve been coming here for years and never have had a problem. Surprised it’s not as busy as it used to be.

food wasn’t good at all, orange chicken was bland, gen tsao chicjen tasted like teriyaki chicken, rice noodles tasted like only oil & salt. feel bad for the new owner that bought this restaurant. they probably got scammed, hopefully they can find a way to fix it & make money. the only good thing was the soup.

Went to dinner with some family here and the food was very good. Service was good. Liked that we could get lunch specials all day. That made it easier with the kids. Will go back.

This is the only Chinese restaurant we will eat at in Columbus, Ga. Whenever we pass through, we have to stop. This is a must-try for you and a must-eat for us.

I have always ordered the same dish from this restaurant, the Szechuan beef, which had a delicious peanut sauce that I haven’t found at any other Chinese restaurant. Today was the first time I’ve had it since the new owners took over and it was a huge disappointment. The dish had no peanut sauce, mostly salty. Don’t think I will be patronizing here anytime soon.

truly the worst fried rice I've ever had the experience of eating...unflavored mush, they ought to be ashamed of taking money for it...eggrolls were soggy, under cooked and tasteless...the wrappers fried and served with the soup were over cooked in rancid oil... so I basically was robbed of $50 for halfway decent, lukewarm eggdrop soup....overpriced, tasteless imitation of what the restaurant used to serve

I’ve grown up going to Chef Lee’s after church and I’m glad to say the food is still amazing a decade later! 😋 Excellent and speedy service! The design of the building and plants outside really transport your eyes as well as your taste buds to China! Love the koi (photo from 2022) _ two stars off of atmosphere category because it’s a luxurious building that isn’t at full potential. There are handwritten signs taped everywhere that just makes the overall scene look like a photo with a prominent watermark _ beautiful non the less.
