I have been going to Chili Thai since I was quite literally a baby. It was my favorite place to eat out as a kid, and ever since it moved downtown, it singlehandedly kept me fed, full, and happy all through college. Now, recently graduated and working downtown, I visit often when I need a lunch that I know will leave me satisfied. The staff is wonderful and introduced me to new delicious things on the menu, the restaurant is beautiful, and I am so grateful that the owner decided to reopen its doors. If you want fabulous food, check this place out. I recommend the Pad Thai, the Coconut Chicken Soup (a new favorite of mine) and the Thai Coffee (but only if you have a sweet tooth!).

The service and atmosphere were very good and excellent. People here were very friendly. However, they need to improve on the food. I guess I have Thai food across the country and the world so the taste here is not anywhere near the standard. Their fried rice and drunken noddles need to improve. Soup is ok, which i enjoyed the most.

The waitress was very nice and attentive which is something that is rare nowadays. The food was delicious and flavorful, we can't wait to go back! The only downside was the ac kicked on and was obnoxiously loud which was annoying.

Be careful. Please make sure you check your order before you leave the building because even if they mess up your order if you leave they are going to tell you “what do you want us to do ? You left the building so there’s nothing we can do” also please check your receipt! They charged me for things I didn’t order or received.

I got the chicken satay with a side of rice and a Thai coffee. Very yummy! It could've used a bigger portion of the sauce, but it was a LOT of very nice chicken. My total came out to 23$ after tax and a 20% tip, which is a bit expensive for a college student, but I'll have a job soon! Very nice staff, super polite, very fun to talk to!
Vegetarian options: You can ask them to make a dish vegetarian.
This is THE best Thai food in Columbus. So glad they have been back for a while. Always a delicious meal!
