I use to visit the OG clear view like majority of the now customers. My husband being in the military I don’t get it often now. I can call the day before coming down and order food to go in a cater style. They had it ready on time and even didn’t mind fixing a gallon on tea and a sand which for the go! Everyone I dealt with was super great and friendly. The lady at the register is always super nice and friendly, she’s actually the one who told me I could do this. So now I’m in Ohio the next day still having a piece of home with my family and freezing some of it for later. I will always enjoy this as being as close to “home” as I can get. Don’t judge the photo the pan wouldn’t fit in the cooler 💁🏻😂

If you're going for the OG Clearview SAVE your money it is NOT the same. If you want DECENT Bbq then this is your place and if your tired of long lines go here but even with a short line the are slowwwwwwww.

It's decent bbq as long as it's not compared to OG Clearview but even comparing it to other places in Columbus I would rather eat else where if giving the choice.

To the owner!! Beg for the OG sauce recipe and your line will be out the door like it was before you took over. And work on being a tad faster with orders too! You can still keep your sauce if you like it or others like it but put out the OG sauce too! Have them come train your employees for a little bit and I promise your store will stay busy. But if you are ok with just getting by then stay the same. I still give two stars because the food is alright and sauce is ok compared to others around town it's not terrible but yall slowww

I’m a Columbus born Georgia boy living in Arkansas. When my wife (also from Georgia) and I come home for Christmas with family, we always stop for the best Brunswick stew ever- I’m talking at least a decade and then some of bringing their stew back to Arkansas. This year however, after the renovation, I ordered some to take back to Arkansas and the disappointment was evident. The flavor was off, the tomatoes were overly chunky… uh… even the worker who handed me my take-out order had a look on his face that said, “I’m sorry.” Damn shame. A BBQ institution ruined by someone who thinks they know better. Leave good alone!

I never write reviews but Christian needed a shout out!! I broke my shoulder a while back and have very little use in that arm. Christian not only came out to my car and took my order and payment, but also made sure everything was as I ordered. All this was done with a smile and great manners. Food was great as always but Christian made this trip extra special. Thank you!!!

When first open. The food was improved and good. I'm glad they're adding new things to the menu. That I haven't tried yet. But I'm kind of skeptical now. The chicken is overcooked, and dry. Same thing for the ribs, they're overcooked and dry. Not like it was before. I'm afraid to try the brisket because it may be the same. If only they would make these adjustments to their cooking time, and hold time. I would hate to have to search for a new BBQ place.
Signed. Respectfully

The food has definitely changed but to me those chipped BBQ sandwiches are still so good! I'm glad they take cards no. My personal suggestion would be another line to make the wait go faster.

Great Southern style barbecue. A Columbus favorite. Buy it by the pound for partys.

A Columbus tradition. It us a BBQ dive with plenty of side options to go with your BBQ ribs, chicken or sandwich. Prices and quality of food keep customers coming back for more.

Had the meats player, have to say very good brisket which is RARE in this area. Sausage and pork CHOPPED very good, also loved the spicy sauce. I was not as impressed with the Brunswick Stew, but that's my personal opinion. I am just happy to find a place for Brisket, being a Texas boy that's important 🤣. Thank you have a good day.

There was no sauce on the bbq. It was chopped up so fine, it looked like hamburger meat. I ordered 4 but was 2 was like hamburger meat. My daddy could not eat it. The taste was not good. The place was cleaned
