Cook’s Place is a Columbus institution. There are other items on the menu, but you come here for hot dogs, including the locally famous scrambled dog. I prefer the chili dog, and the fries are on point.
Service is fast and friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. The restaurant is decked out in a 50s vibe, grease your hair and bring the Bobby socks and poodle skirt for the full experience.

Well let’s start with the atmosphere the walls and the records on the walls were covered with black dust. Then the hot dogs were the cheapest tasting hotdogs. They looked like the .99 cent pack you get at aldis. The chicken nuggets were terrible. I would rather pay the money and go to Franks it’s 1000 times better.

Asked for scramble dog with slaw added- was told no problem. Also got a cheeseburger- clerk verified that I did want cheese. Got home to find no slaw and no cheese on burger. Not a complicated order but managed to strike out- food was decent but not what I wanted or ordered
