The Famous Scrambled Dog
The scrambled dog was created by Firm Roberts in 1908 and has become a Columbus staple since then. Our scrambled dog consists of an open faced hot dog bun with 2 cut up wieners, 6 ounces of our homemade chili (without beans), mustard, ketchup, onions, pickles and topped with oyster crackers.

Cook’s Place is a Columbus institution. There are other items on the menu, but you come here for hot dogs, including the locally famous scrambled dog. I prefer the chili dog, and the fries are on point.

Service is fast and friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. The restaurant is decked out in a 50s vibe, grease your hair and bring the Bobby socks and poodle skirt for the full experience.

I went to Roy's airport through way location. I ha e to tell you I had what was probably the best chili dogs I have ever had! Thank you Roy for a great meal and the two employees you had working there were Awesome! They were professional at all times and really made me feel welcome! I will definitely be back!

I've been driving past there for years and never stopped in, although I love a great hot dog. I enjoyed the loaded chili dog thoroughly. And the help was friendly and inviting.
