The Hamburger steak&gravy with tomato slices and corn on the cob just made me put this at the top of the list of places where to eat in Columbus while visiting. This is a must try food place

Our family loves the Tuesday special. Lots of menu choices. Great sweet tea. Friendly staff. Mid-afternoon is the best time to eat in. Less crowed. The fried okra appetizer is really good. Love the brisket tacos.

We get to go meals almost every Friday from this location. It's good food but sloppy plates. Our bread is always soggy and everything kind of looks thrown together real messy. But country's food is consistently good food. Just wish they would take a little time to put to go meals together.

The waitstaff here can be hit or miss; some are well-versed in their job, while others seem unfamiliar with the menu. My girlfriend and I had to leave after being served cold and dry brisket and ham. Typically, my girlfriend is sweet and won’t voice complaints, but she was extremely disappointed this time. I've never seen her refuse to eat at a restaurant before, but she wouldn’t touch the food here.

This place is supposed to be a BBQ spot, yet the barbecue is very watered down, and they don’t add any BBQ sauce to the dishes. On the positive side, the interior is appealing, and they offer large drink servings. However, overall, this restaurant is not worth the cost or the experience. I recommend going elsewhere.

The best sweet tea any where ! The atmosphere is a down home country atmosphere, the food includes lots of sides to choose from along with beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. They have daily specials and lots of desserts to choose from as well. For dessert I’d recommend the chocolate chess pie or banana pudding.

My wife and I each got a vegetable plate on a Friday evening. We both had dressing and sweet potato soufflé with some additional different sides. Everything was excellent and our order was correct. I’m not sure there is another restaurant on our planet that could have duplicated what we ordered and tasted that good.

Honestly I’ve never been more disappointed, the food was good, but the waitress apparently tried to rip us off, without bringing us the check she charged us 120$ for a party of four. Then we asked for it, and she charged us more than 110% worth of tips,
67$ tips for a 54$ meal. Then we asked for an explanation and she said that’s our fault cause we typed it.
She hearded us speaking French and might have thought we’re easy to steal from, I don’t know.

NEVER AGAIN, sorry to the owner of that great restaurant but that’s innaceptable.

Have been eating at countrys for decades! Barbecue used to be great! Now it’s terrible! No seasoning at all ! That’s not barbecue!! That’s just baked pork! after all these years, going back to when Jim and Jane just started out, I think I will find better food somewhere else 😢

Just left countrys north, waited 10 min. No one came to the table to wait on us. Lots of standing around and talking. No waiting on customers.

Have given County's a try 8 times.Each time orders are incorrect. Although you pay for extra, you won't receive it. Today my chef salad contained 1 slice of egg,and cucumber. I ordered inside meat,I got shredded dried out meat.Lettuce was wilted.Order was ready for 15 minutes, I finally went to the service door to get my order. This was my last trip and last dime we spend there.
