We decided to stop in and eat at Countrys on Broadway. I can definitely say we prefer Countrys North. It took along time for the food to come out, but it was delicious. The whole vibe is different than Countrys north - Hopefully they get it together

I got thier two.chicken breast fried with two sides. The chicken was good, the fried apples were rotten or something, couldn't eat those. The salad I was suppose to get the waitress didn't remember to give it to me and was non existent to give refill or to see if we needed anything. My friends plate was missing one of her four chicken tenders and upon leaving I asked for my side salad which she gave, when I got home and looked at it all it was in there was broken iceberg lettuce and a small cup of ranch. Went to eat that the next day and it was brown and soggy. I was told country's was a good place to eat. Not any more.

We were hoping for a nice lunch. We ate inside because we thought it would be quieter. Wrong! The staff was load and and playing around. This was at 4:00 yesterday. That was 80.00 wasted! We couldn't enjoy our food so we got togo boxes. Fried Pickles were nasty, my center cut was not that, and I got sick later that night. Our Waitresswas the only one we seen that was acting professional. This is not the first time we've experienced this behavior. Won't be back to down town. You need a new staff! We were there Tuesday April 16th, 2024

Great food and awesome service but please keep the ice cooler and condiment tops closed. Keeping them open raises the temp. They where open the whole time we set at the bar. That's not cool gang. Other then the girl yelling that no staff will be successful it was great food.

I have been going to location since 1992 and it has gone downhill in the last few years. I usually order French fries with my food and the last three times they have been cold and not fresh. When I asked for hot fresh ones, they bring more cold fries. Also ordered fried chicken. It was cooked nicely on the inside but over fried on the outside. We got our food before we got our drinks also.I recently was there this week to see they were short staffed and no one was helping each other. Some were on their cell phones and not paying attention to their tables. Also the whole place looked dirty with trash on the floors and tables not clean. The downstairs stairs bathroom was filthy and trash overflowing in the can. I like to support and suggest locally own businesses but this one is off my list. Sorry but this location of Country’s needs to be updated starting with the owner, management and staff.

I wouldn't eat a thing that coke head steve reeves makes. He gave me some garbage ribs once smelled like they came out the garbage. Knowing him they probably did. What kind of piece of trash hires a piece of trash like that anyways.. well we all know the answer to that.

Nostalgic downtown diner serving up southern classics and real deal bbq. Friendly local crowd and staff brightened up a rainy-day Friday lunch.

Always a fun place to take out of town guest. The grandkids love sitting in the bus. Food is good and portions are large. The fried pickles are a must.
