Just returned from a special celebratory Diwali dinner at Dishoom. The Diwali menu included popular Indian street food, all of which arrived quickly and tasted delicious! We enjoyed the Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, and Samosa Chat.
Atmosphere is also lovely. We'll be back.

Went here for lunch and it was incredible. Great service and good food. Fast forward a couple weeks to tonight and we went for dinner and had a completely different experience. The server could hardly understand what we were asking for due to a language barrier. Half our table (the males) were served the starting dish while the other half was left with nothing. While the restaurant was less than half full they didn’t want to bring out rice for more than one bowl for every 4 people. The food is great and the atmosphere is excellent but they were stingy with portions and as soon as we were served we had 3 sets of eyes staring at us ready for us to leave. A good lunch spot but I would be pretty disappointed if this was a first date/closing a business deal location. If food taste is your only concern this is the place in town to go.

The food was amazing. The ambience was really good. Service was very prompt. I was driving back to Atlanta from Panama city and we were going to reach just 10 mins before restaurant closing time, i called them and requested if we order ahead then can we still come and dine in, they happily agreed for staying little late for us and made sure we get our food.Special thanks to their manager for being so kind.

Really good food.
I had the lamb shank, wife had the chicken tikka masala. Very well rounded flavors. Tikka was smooth and rich and the curry with my lamb was a perfect balance of savory and spice. The spice was very well balanced. Not overwhelming or intimidating, but not weak and bland either.
We also had the 65 chicken for an appetizer. I've had 65 chicken at multiple places across the country and this was my favorite by far. The sauce was another perfect blend of savory and spice, and the cilantro added a pop of fresh to the overall flavor.
The chef knows what he's doing.
I took a star because of the service. The server was more concerned with flipping her tables than taking care of her guests. We ordered the app along with water so we could have time to look through the drink menu. We had our appetizer finished before she came back to take our drink and entree order because she cashed out each of her other tables, bussed them, and reset them up before checking back in with us. I ended up getting their smoked bourbon cocktail, and had I got it before or during the appetizer I probably would have ordered a second one before the meal came out. It was very good.
It was also frustrating to keep our water refilled. And she didn't seem very familiar with much of the menu.
For dessert we had the kheer. My wife loves rice pudding and really enjoyed this one. The white chocolate is a very nice touch that adds depth of flavor and texture to the dish.
If you're a fan of Indian food you definitely have to give this place a try.

The first time I ate here, I ordered to-go and the chicken tikka masala was delicious, creamy, and flavorful. This time, I sat down for lunch with coworkers and some of our vendor reps. We arrived right at 1 PM on a Wednesday, and there was no wait at all for the 5 of us. The food was amazing, the service was great, and my everyone in my party was delighted with their order. Everyone joked that this is why they always want me to choose where we go for lunch, and that it'll continue to be my decision going forward (lol). 5 stars, thank you, Dishoom.
I’ve never had Indian food before, but I was so curious when I saw the raving on the Columbus Foodies FB page! I’m always down to try new things, so my hubs and parents had lunch there today (Sunday). Please do not let the outside fool you - the inside is completely opposite! It is incredibly beautiful and uniquely shows off the culture. We wanted to try so many things! I am soooooo sad that we missed the summer mocktails! I hope they have another round of fun drinks to try for next time!
We ordered Bhindi Kurkuri, Chicken Fritters, Rosemary and Garlic Naan (the rosemary being my favorite), Roti, Tomato Soup (special soup of the day), Chicken Tikka Masala, and Paneer Makhni. My momma ordered a smoked bourbon drink, but I cannot remember what it was called unfortunately. I don’t think it was listed as an old fashioned. Everything had so much flavor and was delicious!
The service was great! The staff was very friendly, checked on us quite often, and cleared plates right away for the next tastings!
Overall, our first Indian food experience was a pleasant one and we can’t wait to go back and try some more! Thank you for a fun and lovely afternoon, Dishoom!
Service took forever to take our order. None of our drinks tasted quite right or had liquor in them. Food was good but not worth the price. Portions were small. Don't expect naan bread for the table, you have to pay more for it. Save yourself a lot of time and money and go to the Indian buffet on airport. Equal quality food and all you can eat. We wont be back.
