I've lived in Columbus most of my life. And I have been going to this restaurant sense before I could barely walk. I've always enjoyed the food here and never had a bad experience here. The wait time and service speed on weekends can be slow or on Wednesdays when they have their margarita night. Overall, though, I highly recommend.

El Vaquero is usually very good. Good service, prices AND quality. On this latest occasion my wife and I both became very sick immediately after the meal. We believe that the Salsa was tainted. Even so, everything else was very good.

Atmosphere was nice. Service was good but very slow. The food was awful. I am fairly certain they're using canned chicken in their dishes. Not worth the money

Amazing food still has the same great taste since I was a kid!

Wonderful food and service. The chips and salsa were delicious. Thick chips that were very crispy and the salsa had a smokey peppery bite that was very welcomed, not like a cheap salsa that tastes of just tomato. The molcajete was filled with steak, chicken, shrimp and plenty of veggies and cheese. It came with a side dish of Mexican rice and four flour tortillas. Paired with a frozen margarita this was a wonderfully satisfying meal.

Parking: Very large parking lot with plenty of room for parking and ease of maneuvering.

One word to describe this place....AWESOME!!!!

Great food service is outstanding. Oscar will be your bartender and he will treat you like family. He is a great host!!

Absolutely disgusting! Ive tried this place three times in which I shouldn’t have. The first time I came I was told that I couldn’t get street tacos… how can a Mexican restaurant not sell corn tortillas, onions and cilantro… The chicken and beef was extremely dry and flavorless. Don’t waste your time go else where..

Good Mexican food, fast delivery to the table.

Solid choice for good food!!! Delicious and very consistent. Every time we have eaten there it has been above par!! Highly recommend. Bathrooms need some attention though.

Waiter spilled food on us twice, forgot to bring a replacement for the guacamole that he spilled onto the floor, never came back to check on us or offer more drinks or dessert. Steak fajitas was cooked to a crisp, the meat was so dry and tough, and everything else was bland. Chips and salsa was great. They have only one cash and everyone had to wait in line to pay. Took almost 20 minutes to pay. Will not return and cannot recommend this place.
