An absolutely fantastic spot to heighten the uptown Columbus, GA experience!I finally got around to writing some google reviews. Sad to see that they are temporarily closed, as we were looking forward to pay another visit. On our prior visit, I got the Manhattan with a soda and voodoo chips, as well as a pretzel with beer cheese. The shoestring fries on the Manhattan is an absolute feat of hotdog engineering, and the pretzel with the beer cheese was also nothing but pure house made bliss. No idea if the pretzels and beer cheese are actually house made, but it sure felt and tasted like they were made with love, and in the end, that’s all that matters. The cashier, who seemed like he might be the owner of the place, was very friendly, patient, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Bonus points if he really is the owner- it makes the establishment feel that much more local and cozy! Finally, the prices were what really threw the whole experience out of the ballpark- the level of affordability combined with the level of service, food, and atmosphere this place exhibited was just everything one would look for on an occasion to eat out.Now that this place is temporarily closed, hoping that cashier we met that day is doing well, and looking forward to when this place opens back up!
I wish I could put a review up for the food, but we were a little too late to get some since we arrived 10 mins before closing. Not the store’s fault for that. I respect it; food services should be respected if you arrive way late. (Don’t be a Karen!!)BUT! We did get to chat with the owners/workers, and it was a fun time. They gave us some cookies, and they had some good vibes. The cookies were delish, and I truly wish I got to try out their hot dogs. The photos look bomb!

First time visiting Frank's Alley since moving to Columbus. Atmosphere was great! The owner "Frank" is hilarious and has great customer service. The hot dogs were really good and at a very decent price. My husband and I got half/half, so we could try a few of the different types of dogs they had. (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx) My favorite was the Brooklyn! Will definitely be back ?

First off, whoever the cashier is, he is amazing!! His personality is awesome and it seems like he really enjoys his job! I’m under the impression that he is the owner so if so, hope he see’s this! You’re doing an amazing job at this establishment! I ordered me the Manhattan hot dog and it was pretty good. It’s a nice sized hot dog and I’ve never had a hot dog with potato slices on it but it was great! My friend ordered the Coney Island and she enjoyed hers as well. I’m moving next week so I may stop by one last time!
It just don't make no damn sense how INCREDIBLE these hot dogs are, YALL BETTER COME GET YOU ONE OF THESE!!!!!!!! I work down the street and I walked there. Nothing really left to say chefs kiss!!!!!!

Great Food, great service and fun atmosphere! Went there on a Sunday after church and we really enjoyed it! If you are downtown craving a hot dog, this is the perfect place. Looking forward to going again!

Frank's Alley is the best little hidden gem in Uptown Columbus! They have the best quality hot dogs and the freshest ingredients. I love the pretzels with their signature beer cheese! They always offer fast, friendly service with a smile. Misty gives the best customer service in the industry! You would not believe that she wasn't trained at Chic-Fil-A. She'll hand feed you a hot dog if you ask her nicely. The cook doesn't speak very clearly and he always sounds upset, but he's actually a pretty nice guy when you get to know him. Wayne is their guerilla marketing street team and hype man. He is the strong silent type but he always has a big message for the world. I've been banned for life from this place 4 times and I still can't stay away. This is the perfect lunch spot.

Well, well, well, where do I even BEGIN?! ??I've been to hotdog stands, hotdog carts, hotdog emporiums, and hotdog conventions. But Frank's Alley in Columbus, Georgia? It's like Willy Wonka decided to make hotdogs instead of chocolates and handed the keys to Frank! You walk in, and BOOM! ? It's a carnivalesque explosion of sausages, buns, condiments, and pure unadulterated JOY. If the idea of a technicolor hotdog wonderland was a bit too vanilla for your taste, there's Frank. If Salvador Dali and a circus ringmaster had a baby, that'd be Frank. A laugh that can be heard from three towns over and a heart as juicy as the hotdogs he serves. ??♂️Want kimchi on your dog? You're getting a story about the hot dog wars of '97. Ask for pickles? Prepare to be dazzled with a juggling act worthy of a standing ovation. And don’t even get me started on the beer cheese- it's a wild journey of addicting hilarity. So, if you want to munch on the world's most delectable hotdog while diving headfirst into a whimsical tornado of delight, run to Frank's Alley. And if you're expecting just a "normal" hotdog experience... just don't.5/5 - would dive into this sausage-filled wonderland again. And again. And again. Bravo, Frank. Bravo. ?????#FranksAlleyForPresident #HotdogHeaven #SausageSanity
