It's Tamale Time at Highside Market

one of my go to quick lunch stops. I live they brisket tacos, and the brisket tamales. and the people who work there are awesome. highly recommended. i regularly eat here.

We love Tamale Time - my kid loves the chicken, we love the brisket and pezole. Fabulous sauces!

Tamale Tuesday! 3 Pork Tamales $5!!!! Had Tomatillo Verde (very good) and Salsa Fresca (garlic!!!) Loaded with pork and super flavorful by themselves. $1.50 PBR a bonus that you can even walk around the Market and drink freely. Great service and atmosphere!

Tamales were fantastic and perfectly sized! And that chicken poblano soup was amazing!!! Always a great rec for out of towners! Will be back again soon!

Wonderful selection of tamales, big fan of the brisket ones and the salsa verde. I’ve been here several times and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. Absolutely my go-to spot in Columbus.

Didn’t even give a full tamale! I ordered two tamales (one chorizo and one chicken) and they gave me the two tiniest tamales I have ever seen, both skinny and cut in half! I could understand if these were a dollar a piece, but $7 for two is crazy. GO SOMEWHERE

The food tasted mediocre at best and the portion size was for kids. They also didn’t have any street corn which could have been the biggest thing they sell. I would personally never go again

never have I had veggie tamales, darn good. tried the tacos in phenix city as well, outstanding!

So I just tried your tamales that taste like dreams and miracles. Every single thing is on point. Tamales-Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve had tamales that good. Masa wasn’t dry, ratio was great and taste was wonderful. Your tamales actually put me in a good mood. 10/10 highly recommend! Salsa (fresco) -really tasty salsa. It’s been years since I had salsa that good. 10/10 highly recommend Salsa verde- really, REALLY good salsa verde. 10/10 highly recommend Overall, I almost don’t want to tell anyone about your place because I want it all to myself! (Half-joking…no exaggeration it’s that good). Highly recommend this place 10/10!

Always rear tamales and service too. Hands-down, the smoked brisket tamale is amazing
