La Huerta Mexican Restaurant

We had a first experience with the takeout. Food was OK, Service was a little slow. The atmosphere seemed a little basic. You should try it for yourself.

Business was closed. We dined here last November when the food and service were very good. No idea what happened to close down.

This is an amazing restaurant and they have good prices.

Our third time there. We have yet to be disappointed. Good Tex-Mex food, good service, fair prices. Strangely enough for a Tex-Mex joint, they have some of the best French fries I have ever tasted! We will certainly return. My mouth is watering as I'm writing this. A couple of beef soft tacos and some fries--that's what I'm talkin' about!

Great food, good price and beautiful atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.

Friday night, wife, daughter and I came back for our second time to La Huerta. Wife and daughter had cocktails, I had water. We enjoyed the chips and salsa.. Wife had steak Fajita nachos, daughter had Fajitas Quesadilla and I had the chicken and steak Fajitas. We had to get 3 to go boxes, and I asked for extra flour tortillas (3). Service was quick and accurate.

I ordered cheese nachos. I didn't care for the taste or the cost.

Wanted to try something new. Food was okay. Beef dip was $7 and came in this very small container. Probably won’t be back.

We love Mexican, my wife is from Texas so it's hard to please her when it comes to Mexican food, but this spot was good, tasty food and drinks, friendly service...4 stars on the atmosphere because it was a tad got in there, seems like the AC might be out of service.

This food and service was pretty good, but the Margarita was a slight disappointment. Also, the salsa had a slight pickle juice taste. I'll still give this place another try.

I find La Huerta Mexican to be very authentic. I live in Northern Mexico, we know it as Southern California where Mexican restaurants are aplenty, La Huerta has great atmosphere, our waitress was kind polite and very attentive! I will be back and bring friends.

I was super excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and we had to wait so long for our order to be taken. It took a long time for the waitress to bring out our drinks. We still tried to be patient and ordered our food, but the waitress got our orders wrong, therefore we left. I must say the restaurant was clean but I wouldn’t go back.
