Staff did the utmost to accommodate us short notice. Good food, excellent staff and we loved the evening
I cannot begin to explain how wonderful our dinner was. Not only were the prosciutto wrapped dates and the mussels delicious, the Pinot Noir made it perfect. We all ordered steak medium rare and it was cooked on point! We finished out our dinner with the limoncello cake, the Affogato, and the banana pudding cheesecake. Our table of 4 was absolutely full and extremely happy. The four of us try new restaurants together consistently, and I will praise this place forever. If you go, ask for Aubrey. She checked on our table often and made the experience what it was. 10/10.

The atmosphere was nice. The greeter was great. We were sat quickly. We started our meal with an appetizer of calamari. It was extremely over salted, and had a bad taste to it. My wife and I ate very little of it. We both decided to order the bourbon ribeye steak. That was good, but I don’t feel that my steak was an actual 16 oz steak. My wife’s steak did look 16 oz. The service however was very lacking. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, and our beverages pretty much were empty the entire time. The only refill I got was when another server who was arranging table next to us noticed our empty drinks. We also ordered desert, I ordered tiramisu and server brought me strawberry cheesecake. Not a big deal, but upon me telling her she brought me wrong item, it then took her 15 minutes to bring back the correct desert. At that point I no longer wanted it. I feel as if maybe we’d of gotten there sooner maybe our service would have been better, but since it was 10 pm maybe our server was busy doing her shift duties. Definitely wasn’t worth the $147.00 price tag for such poor service.

Sarah was absolutely fantastic at Mabella's in Uptown Columbus! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever being intrusive.
The food was excellent, but Sarah's outstanding service is what really made our experience memorable. She was professional, personable, and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our visit. If you're dining at Mabella's, I highly recommend asking for Sarah. We'll definitely be back!

The food was excellent and so were the servers. Will and Ashley were so helpful. The bar cocktails were delicious too. This was a special occasion an hour away, but will definitely make the trip again.

The atmosphere is nice, but the pasta I got became boring really quickly flavor-wise.
The rest of the food we ordered was good, but overall it’s probably not somewhere I’d personally come back to.

When I travel to Columbus, Georgia for business, I always make it a priority to dine at Mabella’s. The location, food, and service are consistently top‑notch, and the prices are remarkably reasonable for a restaurant of this quality.
My server on this visit, Kevin, was outstanding—knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and full of great recommendations. He also shared that “Mabella” means beautiful mother, a name that truly reflects the warmth and character of the restaurant.
This time, I ordered the braised short rib, served with a rich burgundy gravy over exquisite risotto and sautéed broccolini. It was exceptional. In fact, I never worry about what to order here—everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Their cocktails and drinks are also very reasonably priced.
If you’re ever in Columbus, Georgia, I highly recommend visiting Mabella’s. Five stars.

Absolutely immaculate restaurant. Tucked away in an almost hidden corner of downtown Columbus, right by the charming downtown strip; a vintage location with an owner who, thank the Lord, actually LEANED INTO IT instead of knocking the walls down and minimalising it or something. If the entrance looking like something straight out of a fantasy novel or string light bound outdoor eating area doesn't immediately capture your heart the inside smelling of good food and looking like you're either meeting the most beautiful person you've ever seen or the mob most certainly will. The staff is incredibly friendly and, importantly, very KNOWLEDGEABLE on the menu and it's contents making ensuring you know what you want and what's in it a breeze. The prices are a tad high, this is certainly not a restaurant for casual dining; but then again, there's no way you looked at this restaurant expecting something casual. Portion sizes are reasonable and everything is cooked beautifully.

Bourbon Ribeye and corn chowder soup - flavor and temperature was perfect! Red wine cab “iron & and” was meh. Service was good and honest. Would recommend.
