We were at the tail end of the serving time and the Mac and cheese was dried out but the server brought us hot cheesy broccoli casserole which was delicious. I’m from Iowa so I ordered the fried pork tenderloin sandwich that could have easily fed two people. I would go back again. But, I wouldn’t recommend the seasonal cocktails. They’re premade and not worth the money.
We were seated right away. However, it was at the booth by the door, which was way too big for just two people. The server was attentive she came right away and took our drink and appetizer order. We had the fried green tomatoes. It was five tomatoes served with a sauce with a kick but not too spicy with fetta cheese on top. Great choice if you are looking for a southern appetizer. After she returned, she took our food order. I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli...
The food was really good and the restaurant was quite quaint. Not quite a sports bar but not real fancy. The appetizers ,steak,mash potatoes, sautéed mushrooms,cranberry wine spritzer,and service were excellent.
