I ordered a large grinch meal through the app. Went to pick up in drive thru, glanced in the box as they handed it over and noticed it was only Medium. I told them it was supposed to be Large, they took the box back and someone said “they only ordered Medium” at which time I presented the receipt showing I ordered and paid for Large. I then watched them dump the Medium fries into a Large box and put it back in my order. I was so pissed I just took the order and drove off. Then when I actually opened the box, there were no socks. So I paid $14 for a LARGE and a pair of socks, of which I got neither. Well played McDonalds, but I won’t ever be back to this location. Horrible, rude service. True Grinch Service.

Horrible attitude. I know its fast food, but do you have to be angry, especially when people are still being nice to you besides your nasty behavior? Do better.

Lets ignore the fact that there was an attitude, can you at least get my food right? It clewrly says extra pickle, extra onions. I got 1 pickle and no onions. The other sandwich has 1 pickle and no onions, smh. Then I complain through the app. That was 2 weeks ago, nothing. No one has reached out. I called today (11/26) like when will someone reach out, the manager, as she said she was, told me to call back tomorrow, on Thanksgiving, to speak to the manager who actually handles that 😐😐 huh?

Get your receipt, I caught a surcharge on my 10 piece nugget meal ($8 before tax) and inquired about it. The response was, they were out of regular cups and the young lady rung up the items in my meal separately. Meal went from $9 to $10.54 (after tax) and the supervisor on shift saw nothing wrong with it. Customer service 101- let your customers know if they are being charged more before adding on charges- it’s not your money!

What a horrible experience. The floor is slippery and disgusting because they don’t clean it. We came to let the kids play because of rain but the playground was closed. We waited over 20 minutes for our food. Was missing one meal, and the meals that we did get, 2 were wrong. There’s clearly no proper management at this place. Will definitely go elsewhere next time. This place used to be decent.

Female walked by, I kindly asked if this was for my order for delivery, she pretended not to hear me. Then she walked by again, and again, she did the same thing. Why be rude?

Absolutely terrible service....place a small curbside delivery order and after 20 minutes had to go inside to check. Stood at counter for almost 5 minutes and had to ask for help before someone came to counter. Cashier had a didnt care attitute and the final was the order of 2 sausage mcmuffins and two specialty coffees was make wrong. All this on a VERY slow Sunday morning....

1★ — Food safety + zero customer care
Location: McDonald’s, 7350 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA
Date/Time: ~7:45 PM, after a 12-hour shift
Order: #2 Quarter Pounder Meal — well-done, only mustard + unsweet tea
Employee at counter: Katrina

I eat out a lot. Lately I’ve learned to pick my battles, because arguing over basic customer service has become a regular thing. But this one crossed the line.

I got home, took one bite, and had to spit it out. The burger was pink/raw inside—nowhere near “well-done.” I turned my car light on, opened it up, and took photos. Food safety matters. I shouldn’t have to inspect dinner like a health inspector.

I drove back, walked to the counter with the bag in my hand, and waited. The staff member looked at me—no greeting, no “how can I help you?” I said “hello,” and explained I ordered well-done. Before I could finish, she said it “came straight off the grill.” When I opened the box and showed the raw center, she just said “oh.” No apology. No ownership. No “this shouldn’t happen,” no urgency. Ten minutes later, I got a remake—still no “sorry” or “thank you.”

Here’s the bigger issue: we work hard for our money. Fast food isn’t cheap anymore. I shouldn’t have to fight for a properly cooked burger, wait 20–30 minutes, or be met with an attitude for asking for what I paid for. Mistakes happen; how you handle them is the difference between a loyal customer and a lost one. Tonight I felt like they were doing me a favor just for existing—while handing me a raw burger labeled “well-done.”

What I expect from management:

A real apology and acknowledgment this is a food safety failure.

Retraining on greetings, apologies, tone, and problem-solving.

Clear standards for cook temps and order accuracy—especially when “well-done” is requested.

Empower staff to fix issues with care and urgency, not defensiveness.

I’m not here to embarrass anyone. I’m asking for basic respect and safe food. This shouldn’t be normal.

Was told I had to use kiosk which is fine. But ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. It was old dark brown and stale. This isn't the first time I've ordered from this store and been disappointed. The food is never fresh for me and I should have went to Burger king instead.

This particular McDonald's always seems to have a full, slow drive through. When you go inside to order, some if not all kiosks are down or they work and the card reader is broken. However, the staff expects you to order from them because you will stand at the counter waiting on a cashier for 10 minutes or more. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Absolutely the worst of all McDonald experiences and that says a lot. I would be furious if I owned this restaurant. The staff were rude and even refused to speak when my wife asked several relevant questions including requesting a carrier for our sundaes. Basically show the carrier across the counter and gesture for her to “fetch it”. Not worth the stop for anything here. Avoid this restaurant.
