This was our second breakfast at a Metro Diner (first was in Augusta). We had great food at both locations, but the staff here in Columbus was really friendly and were having a good time kidding around with each other. I wish these would expand to out home area of northeast Texas!!

I was in town on business and was tired and just wanted a quick meal with no fuss. I ordered ribs and chicken tenders. The chicken was good. The ribs tasty but I could tell they had been under heat too long. Over all it served the purpose. Not sure i would go back if in town again.

When I go to Columbus, Metro Diner is my spot. They have great food and the most attentive, and the friendliest service in Georgia. I have fallen for Kristyn and Kala. They both gave me an app idea I'm working on. You go to any restaurant, pull out your phone, hit the app and no matter the restaurant your favorite server pops up like a Jeannie in a bottle. Brilliant right? Kala and Kristyn are the best. You can't leave their table in a bad mood. Between the food and the service. You can't go wrong with Metro Diner, Kala or Kristyn. Believe that.

October 6, 2025. We would like to thank Ms. Kaelyn T for excellent customer service during are breakfast this morning. Av made sure we were served promptly since we had appointments and were pressed for valuable time; she served our BLTs and avocado sandwiches superbly. Ten Stars. February 12, 2025. Thanks, I had the protein breakfast this morning with scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, and sausage, and it was fantastic and very delicious. I can now say it was one of the best-prepared breakfasts that my wife and I have had since arriving in the Columbus area 26 years ago. Thanks so much for the excellent customer service as well. Ten Stars.

Just passing through the city, we read the reviews and thought this would be amazing. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to all of the reviews. Most of our meals were disappointing the silver dollar pancakes, which are usually about two or 3 inches in diameter. we’re literally the size of a silver dollar, and the rest of our food just didn’t meet the Mark that we expected.

I love Metro! The food is always excellent and so is the service. On my last visit Kala went out of here way to answer questions and accommodate requests. Go there!
