We loved this restaurant. The menu was a collection of interesting dishes that drew both on local ingredients and tradition. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere was great. Our server--Melana--was a joy who truly enhanced our dining experience. Very highly recommended all around.

Came for a celebration tonight and was not impressed, will not be returning. Staff was not attentive at all. They did inform us the general manager was out but it’s quite alarming to see one person being out caused the whole system to essentially fail. I asked for a mocktail, was given watered down oj for $8. Got the charcuterie board and there was no explanation behind what was even served nor did the waiter pause to explain. My quail was essentially raw, not even rare, and pretty much inedible. Didnt bother sending back bc it took so long to get food in the first place. Deserts were okay, but the pots they were served in seemed to not been properly cleaned or prepped bc there was black on the apples touching the side and it was very bitter tasting.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant! Melana took excellent care of us. Her food recommendations were on point, her personality was exceptional, and her service to our table was perfect. Pair this with delicious food and cotails and it was the perfect evening.

Won’t be back. This place has been mediocre but my last visit was awful. The service was terrible and the food was somehow worse. Everyone in the party agreed. Bad food all around. Personally I had the lamb and it was very overcooked and dry. The worst lamb I’ve ever had. The potatoes served with it were over mixed and glue like. The carrots were undercooked. This place had enough chances from me and this last one was it. The only positive part is the view of the river.

The filet was tender and perfectly cooked, and the scallops were seared to perfection. Together, they make an incredible surf and turf—we’d love to see this pairing added to the menu! Our waitress Melana was outstanding and made the night even better.

Melana was absolutely amazing! One of the best servers I’ve ever had—she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience so enjoyable. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. If you come to Mill House Bar & Grill, definitely ask for Melana!

This was my first time at The Millhouse and it won’t be my last. My server Deja was phenomenal, very personable and great at making recommendations. The Fried Green Tomato + Crab Stack was delicious and the Eggplant Parmesan with fresh in-house pasta was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We were out for our anniversary and we had an excellent experience on a Tuesday night; Trenton was our waiter, his calm and polished demeanor fit the evening perfectly. All of the food was first class, the stuffed flounder was good but the fish could’ve used more seasoning and butter. After dinner I had the Grasshopper made by Nellie, one of the best I’ve ever had, not too sweet but full of flavor. Then Nellie noticed us looking at the historical pictures and mill works by the bar and offered to take us to the private dining area below to get a better view of the old mill works; completely on her own initiative, very sweet and professional, thanks for the excellent service Nellie!
