We reserved a large table at the Millhouse kitchen and Bar restaurant for my daughter's small reception dinner. The decor was very unique and interesting and a great way in the atmosphere was just perfect. The menu was diverse and the food was really good. I really enjoyed walking around and taking in the architecture of a converted mill. This place was really great.

We had an excellent experience at Millhouse, and Justin was a HUGE PART of that. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. We even bonded over college football, which added such a fun, personal touch to the evening. Service like his truly elevates the dining experience. Ask for Justin — you won’t be disappointed!

I brought my mom to Mill House for a mother–daughter date and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was warm, the food was delicious, and the staff was welcoming. Our server, Sareena, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She truly made the night special. My mom loved every minute of it, and I can’t wait to come back!

I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Mill House restaurant. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, loved the atmosphere and that it is on the river.

While staying at City Mills Hotel we ate dinner at Millhouse. The historic atmosphere is just right. Great to view the artifacts, like how the original mill gears and grinders are a focal point in the restaurant. My wife had the Chicken and Spooned Biscuits, which were hot and very yummy. I had the Pork Chop, the seasoning was treffric, the pork itself could have been hotter and I like my potatoes a little more done. We sat at the bar and discovered they make their espresso martians in large batches and dispense via tap, pretty cool and very good! Had the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, highly recommend! Our server / bartender was great, just the right amount of conversation and spot on service.

Coming from a big city (Miami) and this definitely met big city standards where it matters. Ambiance, food, service. Where is doesn’t meet big city standards is also where it matters, price. 100% would recommend. Kennedy did a phenomenal job serving us, attitude, checking up on us. 0 complains and genuinely impressed with this experience. Call me ignorant but I did not expect this experience from Columbus, GA.

We stayed at the City Mills hotel to celebrate our anniversary in GA water rafting. First I wanted to mention our waitress Melana who was absolutely wonderful! Super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. But I was pretty disappointed in my steak, and I’m not one to say anything when Melana asked how everything was - which is why I’m not obliterating this review. But the ribeye was very thin and lacking seasoning. My husband had the prime rib - which like Melana mentioned had a very smoky flavor which he likes! But I don’t, so I’m glad she mentioned that lol. The lava cake dessert was amazing. I will be back, but to try something else other than the ribeye!

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The decor, the old mill vibe, the views, it's all top level. We were surprised on a Saturday night at peak dinner time that it was empty, only 1 table was occupied. Come to find out, a more sterile section in the back is where two other tables were seated! Seemed like it was for over flow but sadly it's where we were seated, tucked away from the mill vibe and tucked away from the old wood. Perfect section for folks with kids but we were three adults! We thought maybe the front section tables were reserved but the entire time we were there only 3 tables were seated in the front area. Then sadly, service was slow, basic and methodical but somehow it made sense, we were the furthest you could get from everything! Now, it was all resting on the food! The pork belly was amazing, rendered perfectly, soft and melt in your mouth! The fresh fried pork rinds crackled the entire time, were nice and warm and loved by all! The teeny tiny spoonful of dip was very good, just miniscule considering the portion of rinds. Our server never returned to ask for a bit more until our meals were delivered so we enjoyed them plain. The chicken and biscuits lacked any seasoning whatsoever and the presentation of the steak was quite lackluster. The wedge salad was just plain weird, too much going on for a wedge! Millhouse is listed as fine dining with the decor and prices scream fine dining but service and food don't match.
