The food is mediocre! Went to take my family there yesterday and for 2 plates and 2 cakes we spent $48.21. The service was terrible they only give you a portion of food and you pay extra for it. Meanwhile, all the Caucasian people are staring right in my eyes and I hate that, could even hear one say something about my innocent child.. if you are black STAY AWAY ! I would hate for you to experience what I did in 2024. PITIFUL!

I was in the area with friends who recommended the restaurant, and I'm glad I took their advice. For those with a sweet tooth or a fondness for Southern sweet tea, Minnie's is a must-visit. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, the hamburger steak was savory and satisfying, and the vegetables and salmon cake were both delightful. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to delicious, home-style cooking.
However, while the food exceeded expectations, the interior of the restaurant could benefit from some updates. The decor is in need of a refresh, as the ceiling, walls, and paint show signs of wear. The tables and chairs are outdated and could be more comfortable. A little renovation could go a long way in enhancing the dining experience and making the environment as inviting as the cuisine.
