Ribs and chop bbq were good. Didn't like the sauce too zesty for me. Greens and Mac and cheese were good. Price is good. Customer Service was great. I was greeted immediately and the guy was very nice help me figure out what to order. Let me try the chopped bbq.
Portions are a small for $17 , service was great. Grits were as good as any I've ever had. Red beans and rice were very good too. Jalapeño cornbread was really good. Pulled pork was lousy, no flavor, no bark and sauced with cheap run of the mill storebought sauce. Much,much better BBQ in Columbus.
Food was pretty good overall. The mac and cheese was a bit salty and the only bbq sauce available was a tad on the spicy side which I like, but doesn't fit everyone's taste. The black-eyed peas were delicious and so was the cornbread. The ribs were typical of any other bbq restaurant. My family enjoyed their pulled pork sandwiches. Tea was watered down and the sodas weren't that great. The atmosphere was great. Decent spot to visit.
