Great food once again and awesome service!!
Every time I come to town from Atlanta for business, I stop at this location because of the way I get treated in the quality of the food. It’s the best sandwich and salads in town.
Monica & Annajoi were the people I dealt with today and they were absolutely awesome. My order was perfect and they were real pleasant. Good to see a smiling face.
I will be back anytime I am in Columbus

The worst. Traveling through and ordered online. Their website said no fee for pickup but charged $2.77 fee at checkout. The Ruben bread was not toasted and had only a smear of dressing and hardly any sauerkraut. Order a side of potato salad that was maybe a third of a cup…almost $3.00!

Unfortunately the staff seems absolutely miserable. Manager seems extremely rude and difficult to work with. Setting up an awful vibe for everyone, including the customers. Sandwich’s were OK. But the workers just made the experience so upsetting.
Vegetarian options: OK veggie wrap.

Me and my husband used to come here all the time. It’s been a couple years since we visited, and tried it again about a month ago. The food was not good, it was extremely dry, and they seemed to have either forgotten to steam our sandwiches or they no longer do that. If that’s the case, they’ve ruined the sandwiches. They also didn’t print our ticket so we had to ask about it and wait twice as long. We tried it again today because we wanted a good sandwich. They forgot items on our meal, tried to make us pay twice, and the food was awful. The sandwiches were so dry we couldn’t even swallow them, and we had to wait forever. The staff was arguing with each other and didn’t seem like they knew what they were supposed to do. Many people were not receiving their food or had to wait triple the time they should have. At one point the girl working the register said very loudly, “God, what even is this rush?!” With people in line and others still waiting on their food. This place has gone way down over the years and thats terrible! Will not be back.

It has been many years since I have eaten here..... I got the Cuban, which i admit that i have never had before. It was fantastic. I enjoyed it.
My total was $15.23. I has a $20 in my hand and was digging in my pocket for the correct change. When I handed the bill and the quarter to the cashier, she must have already hit the $20 button, because a look of sheer terror came over her face. OMG I have got to make change..... She immediately reached for a calculator that was near by. Still took 3 or so tries with calculator and frantically looking at the receipt back and forth for her to finally hand me back 5 one dollar bills.
Now for those of you who switched to your calculator to do this math and that cashier..... Bless your hearts!

Great sandwich place. But this Texan was highly disappointed in Momma Goldberg s. They didn't have any Dr. Pepper. Shameful. Just shameful. Lol.

Food was slow in coming, but the place was busy so I guess that's to be expected. But this grilled cheese sandwich is delicious!
Kid-friendliness: Many kids here with their parents.

I have always loved Mamma Goldbergs. Unfortunately I won’t be back to the downtown Columbus location until they change their bread back. They apparently recently made a change and the bread is terrible. It is too much bread and doesn’t steam well and it honestly ruins the entire sandwich.
Once that happens, I will gladly give a five star review on the food.

I’ve been to many Momma G’s throughout Alabama and Georgia and all have been good. But, this location was absolutely the worst I’ve ever seen.
1) They lost our order after twenty minutes of us sitting there.
2) One lady sandwich might have been 3 in long. Then got an attitude about her asking about.
3) After nearly 35 minutes of waiting my order came out wrong.
4) Lastly, I got three different drinks because all of them were flat.
I love Momma G’s and if I’m at any Auburn location, but I’ll never go back to this site. Nearly $40 dollars wasted is unacceptable for anyone is this economy.

First it was a lie that led me to eat here. The name suggests it is possibly a jewish deli. Instead it is the worst food on the planet served by a family who are not jewish. That wouldn’t have been so bad if the food was good. The sandwich was a soggy microwaved sloppy garbage filled affair wrapped in aluminum foil to hide its lack of value. The soup was cold and I should have realized it was a terrible place to eat when I saw no one was eating there. I’m new to the area and I will be staying far away from this crooked place as possible. I would advise you do the same.
