The bagels here are excellent, but the store needs to hire reliable workers. This place has gone downhill with the lack of consistency of being open and having food items in stock. It is the only bagel shop in town and you think they would be open at least once a week. I use to go here every morning for breakfast, and now they are closed practically everyday. When they open no one answers the phone. Then you drive by and see that they are open, but have very few ingredients to make sandwiches. Sad to see My Favorite Muffin go out of business.

When you can get a bagel sandwich they are pretty good. However, today was the THIRD time I have driven all the way over to this store during normal operating hours (usually between 8am-10am) only to find the "closed" sign up and door locked. Other times i have had to stand and wait for a few minutes for someone to come out to take my order. I prefer spending my money at individually owned franchises and local businesses, but today was the last time i will attempt to support this business.

These are not muffins. This is cake. They are delicious though! I've gotten inconsistent coffee drinks that were ALL cream and sugary syrups even after I asked to go light. And the last time I went I tried a smoothie and I think it was a premix. It tasted like creatine and it made my stomach hurt. Bathrooms could be cleaned more often and the clutter and boxes that are all over the place really turn me off. I want to like this place I really do. I know they are short staffed and it must be hard.

I along with some of my coworkers will not be giving this place anymore business. Had an employee sitting on her phone while I patiently waited to order and after waiting for 5 minutes she rudely stomped over (mind you she was wearing sweatpants, a baggy hoodie and flip flops) and muttered “what do you want” after I ordered she then started cussing about how miserable her job is and then walked out into the dining area and just sat on her laptop. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get a sausage egg and cheese everything bagel. I returned once more with some employees a few weeks ago thinking that this specific employee wasn’t working anymore due to her acting like this in front of the owner or manager of this place, but no she was sitting there again on her phone, and very rude when I ordered. I along with some of my coworkers will never be coming back to give this place any kind of business. Extremely unprofessional

Just echoing the same sentiments about when they open and quality of food now. You would figured with people waiting outside on a Saturday, the place would be open early, NOPE! Didn't open until 9ish. When it did finally open, few muffins that were available seemed like they came straight from the fridge.

Service gets worse everytime I go here. It was once my favorite breakfast shop. I guess tye owner is too cheap to hire help. No one answers tye phone. One girl working when i get there. The muffin case is practically empty. The bagels are non existent. Waited in line behind one person ....20 minutes just to order. I feel sorry for the poor girl working by herself. Cheapo owners need to do something about this. This was my last trip here.

We moved to Midland a year ago and started going to this location every weekend. Loved the muffins until last few months. They are not consistent on when open on weekends. We would go every Saturday and Sunday morning and now they have closed on Sundays and don’t open Saturdays based on hours posted if at all. Also the muffins are not fresh when we are able to get them. I used to look forward to my muffins on the weekends and now end up with breakfast from fast food places. This could be a great business as there are always people waiting outside ready for the doors to open but unfortunately now everyone waits outside now and discusses if she will open that day or not. Sad for this business and for me.

Normally my favorite place to go for blueberry muffins but they've been very disappointing lately. They're often closed during business hours. I visited on Sunday and bought 4 jumbo and 2 dozens of minis, for my family and another. The muffins seemed as if the batter may have been too thick. They were very dry and airy like. They wait was definitely longer than usual but she was the only one working. Just hope there are some changes soon as we'd love to continue to visit

I drove 25 minutes to this place because the reviews were so positive. I ordered 4 bagels and 4 muffins 28DEC20. The woman sliced the bagels as I requested, but they were sliced very jaggedly. About 10 minuets into my wait for the bagels to be sliced I noticed she toasted 3 bagels for some reason. I asked her not to toast the last one and I am glad I did. The un-toasted bagel was definitely stale; I assume they all were as they were very dry and tough. One of the women was polite and the place seemed very clean. Muffins look great though.
