The food was fantastic. Here for vacation and it was a great break from chain restaurants. The staff were so friendly and polite too. Overall highlight of our trip!

Good food, staff was nice, and the atmosphere is quite nice. Plenty of space, a stage (unaware if there are performances of any kind), and in general, a comfortable place to be. Fried chicken was made to order and worth the wait. Beats any chicken I've had from sit-down or fast food joints. I hope to come back again and try more.

First time here. I went right after lunch started around 11:15 am and ordered fried chicken, rice and gravy, collard greens and an extra side of fried okra. Spent $14. The place was empty except for one couple dining in. It's very spacious if you want to eat inside however I took mine to go. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Okay the food- the fried okra was nothing but salt. Couldn't eat it whatsoever and ended up throwing it away. Paid extra for it and really hate I did. Again, first time. I'm not sure if this is normal or whoever was cooking this day was a little heavy handed. The fried chicken was okay. Nothing to be crazy about or to run back and get. Didn't really have much flavor to it. The rice and collards were good. Seasoned pretty nicely but still nothing to be too crazy about. For the amount I spent I was expecting to be wow'd. There's other southern cooking establishments that I prefer. However, I will be back as I always like to visit a place at least twice before giving my final review. I will update this after my next visit.

This place was a sorry excuse for breakfast! The pancakes tasted like shake and pour, the bacon was hard and burnt, eggs were wet, grits had no flavor and the chicken tasted like it was fried in fish grease with no seasoning. We spent almost $30 on breakfast and ended going to the grocery store and cooking at home!

This food is very good and very southern. I couldn't even make it out of the parking lot with a full plate cause I ate half of it lol. The owner and her son are very nice and warming I will definitely be back soon ☺️

Nice spot to take the family or coworkers for lunch. I was in town visiting family, and they wanted to go out to lunch together. Thankfully, all the big chain restaurant that they wanted to try had long wait times, so I quickly recommend yhis location. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal and dessert. So, although they didn't have any banana pudding, the cake and lemonade more than made up for it.
The only thing that was not perfect, okra. Some of it was too fibrous to eat. Sometimes okra is that way.Vegetarian options: Cafeteria style. You get to look at it before you get the food.
