New American Restaurants in Columbus, GA

“I reached out to The Goetchius House about a week before my birthday to see if they could accommodate a party of 20. I first spoke with the owner, who let me know that Marcelo would be in touch, and sure enough he reached out the very next day. Marcelo was wonderful to work with and he truly brought my vision to life with the table setup, and the food was executed perfectly.

This was actually my second time celebrating a birthday at The Goetchius House, and once again, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I sincerely hope The Goetchius House continues to be a part of Columbus for many more years to come!

“We came in Saturday night and had a wonderful waiter. I'm terrible with names so I wish I could name them here. They were extremely attentive,helpful and friendly.The strawberry bourbon smash was AMAZING!!!!The spinach dip was delicious.Our steaks were delicious 😋 Definitely a go to place for a great cocktail 🍸 and appetizers!!!!“

“We visited from Florida and really enjoyed our meals. However, our server Symone D was terrible! Very unpleasant, unfriendly, and snappy when simple questions about the menu were asked. She needs additional training on customer service and communication and learn how to explain the menu.“

“This is my favorite date spot in town! It’s a little pricey, but the food is amazing!! I love the ever-changing menu and unique and incredibly tasty drinks! My only complaint would be that it’s not even remotely kid friendly, but that could also be a good thing for many. 😆“

“10/10 phenomenal food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! We celebrated our 30th high school class reunion at this location and it was a night to remember. We couldn’t have picked a better location to celebrate! The manager Maricus was more than accommodating and our server Ebony went over and above to take care of us!“

“The down by the river view was phenomenal! Very beautifully breathtaking! However, the service could have been a lot better had they had attentive waiters and bartenders coming around to tables/sections. It's a nice place for a bit of chatter and a cocktail. The food on their menu could've been alot more fulfilling ration for what you're paying. Overall I really enjoyed my date night there!“

“Not from Columbus so wasn’t sure of where to eat so we stumbled upon this jewel. The waitress was such a sweet young lady and was very attentive. The fried green tomatoes were excellent along with my pesto & shrimp pasta and my husband’s pecan crusted salmon. Also couldn’t resist the red velvet cake! Would definitely recommend and return when in the area.“

“They were able to accommodate our large party (30) with little notice after another restaurant “lost” our reservation. The servers were amazing and the food was fantastic!! That’s the best burger I’ve had in a long time!“
