I only tried the chess square and mini cake, but they were both very good. Actually, the chess square, a slice of what I assume is chess pie, is amazing; it's probably now one of my favorite desserts I've ever had! The top is crunchy, the middle is a buttery, cream cheese layer, and the crust is like a blondie.
The mini cake is good as far as regular yellow cake goes; I'm just not a fan of how sweet and fatty icing is in general, but the cake part is moist and fluffy. The icing has an airy, whipped texture and a slight grainy crunch from the sugar. My main complaint is that they should have a different size box (and preferably something more environmentally-friendly than Styrofoam) for this item. As you can see, the beautiful, decorative icing unfortunately got squished by the top of the box. I think $8.20 for a tiny cake like this is a little pricey, too, especially if all the hard work they're putting into decorating it goes to waste when the box is just going to squish it.

I called 30 min before they were closing in a panic because my cake I ordered from another baker had completely botched my cake for my mother’s wedding. The lady was sooo helpful and pulled together a 3 tier cake for me last min and I’m sooo thankful. Cake was exactly what we were needing for the wedding. I can’t enough how thankful I am she was able to help me literally 30 min before closing. I will recommend this bakery to everyone I know. Thanks again!!!

We had ordered a cake through Pat-a-cakes for our wedding last weekend about two months prior to be picked up at 10a.m. day of wedding. Everything was dropped off and supplied for the decor of the cake and we were told there would be no issues. Showed up morning of wedding at 10 a.m and neither of the two cakes were even made. Yes the cakes were right. But they definitely dropped the ball on timing.
