Saltcellar has seriously stepped up its game. You can feel the change in the kitchen — the new menu and the execution are on another level.

The salmon was perfectly seared with incredible flavor and balance. The sea bass? Buttery, delicate, and cooked flawlessly. Even the filet was tender and packed with depth. The pasta was rich, fresh, and beautifully composed.

You can clearly tell there’s a new chef influence — the plating is elevated, the flavors are refined, and every dish feels intentional.

Columbus needed this upgrade. Saltcellar is officially a must-visit again.

Pleasantly surprised by the menu change. I stopped by for dinner recently, and seeing the variety on the new menu gave me so many great options to choose from.
This time I decided to start with the pasta — since it’s something relatively simple, you can really appreciate the new touches the chef adds to it.
Very thankful for the service, and I’ll definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu.

I’ve been a regular customer here for quite some time, though I hadn’t visited in about a month. I came in today and immediately noticed a significant change, not just in the menu but in the taste and overall quality of the food.

Unfortunately, the flavors were lacking. Even basic seasoning like salt and pepper, which should be standard for any meat, seemed to be missing. The food was bland and not what I had come to expect based on my past experiences here.

I understand that restaurants evolve, but not all changes are improvements. This experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning.

Burnt the heck out of my steak. Like wow. Hard to believe they charge 50$ a steak with products like this.

Asked for desert, they ran out of everything. Brought us the menu, then told us, they only had 3-4 things, when there is 15 things on the menu. Sad.

Took my valentines date here, very upsetting. Had a 8 o’clock reservation, didn’t sit us until 9:30. Trash food, burnt steak. Chef wouldn’t change sides, all around, half average.

My wife and I went for Valentine’s Day dinner. Our meal were absolutely delicious, nicely presented, and cooked perfectly to order. Our meals came quickly and our server, Angel, was engaging, cheerful, and accommodating, adding to our already wonderful experience. This our 3rd Valentine’s Day dinner at Saltcellar with each visit even better than the last. Thanks!

I’ll start by saying we love this place and have not had a negative experience until recently. This last time we went, my wife’s salmon was burnt on the bottom and my lamb chops must have flared up on the grill. They were also burnt. Not seared, but burnt. We also waited over 5 minutes and I finally had to ask another server where our server was. The restaurant was not busy at the time. (5:30 pm). We aren’t the type to complain and be difficult but I felt the need to leave an honest review. I will say our “Trio” appetizer was delicious and so was our cheese cake for dessert. Hopefully the executive chef can work out the kitchen issues.
