Was really looking forward to going. The menu online sounded like a great balance of variety, but when my husband and I went there was just apps and burgers. We weren’t very satisfied.

Enjoyed a Friday night at Scruffy's. Ended up getting charged the wrong amount. Went in the next morning and the owner was more than happy to listen to me and resolve the issue above and beyond to the point where I can't wait to be back again. Very impressive.

DO NOT schedule your group event here, they are likely to drop the ball. We showed up for a planned event after a convention a few blocks away. All guests with pockets full of cash hungry and looking to spend it.
We were told that from the whole menu only sandwiches and appetizers were available. Two of our three person party paid in cash. Took about 45 minutes for the reuben to come out. Our burgers got delivered to the wrong person. After over an hour since putting in our order, instead of making our order right, all five cooks walked out. I am questioning why they were not prepared to work later (with incentives such as higher pay) since this was a scheduled event.
The icing on the cake is that when we asked for our money back we were offered beers and told "we don't actually have a way to pay you back." After two of us paid in cash. We were not interested. Refund us our money. Thanks in part to this dismal service two of our guests from out of state have already expressed they will not return to this convention next year.
What an unfortunate missed opportunity to rake in a ton of cash in one night and support events coming to your town.

Understaffed. Weird smell. Menu situation was very confusing. The online menu is no longer valid, you have to scan a QR code on the table.

I'd love to give this place a better rating however, Google said it was open until 2:30am, however, it was 1:00am when we came by and the place was closed. Very disappointing.
Finally! I find really, really good fish’n’ chips!! I honestly search the world over! Fried Haddock and a lightly seasoned chip, house-made sauce. The only thing I would add is a little brown sauce to go with the malt vinegar. Friendly neighbourhood atmosphere with courteous and professional staff. The food was cooked and delivered to the table in record time. Highly recommend this Columbus treasure! I will definitely be back!

Update:
Looks like the servings we got Tuesday are the standard, and maybe the other visit had a different cook. I found photos in the Google Maps reviews section, and the servings my friends and I received Tuesday seem to be the normal portions.

They were out of food and out of some of their beers at the start of dinner hour. Not good
Great place to grab a pint with friends.

It was okay. Nothing bag, nothing good. Very average. Out of Smithwicks beer. Lower server ratio to table. The server was great. She was busy. Out of bangers and mash plus Shepard’s pie. Not a bad stop. Room for improvement.

Nice place but totally devoid of staff. My husband and I sat and waited over 10 minutes for anybody to come by. The cook was playing on his phone and completely ignored us. We could have emptied the entire liquor supply and I doubt anyone would care.
Second attempt to try this place. There won’t be a third

I grew up in England and was thrilled to see shepherd's pie on the menu. Obviously nobody knows what it is because it was disgusting. Meat tasted like it came from a can, gelatinous gravy atop wet mash?? Get some help. The whole place smelled like rotten fish, like somebody needs to see a doctor... but beer was cheaper than most uptown/downtown places. So there's that I guess
