The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, and the pulled pork is juicy and flavorful. Their house-made sauces add the perfect touch to every bite. The sides are just as impressive—don't miss the mac and cheese and the coleslaw. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. Smokey Pig is the ONLY place to get bbq in Columbus Ga…..I have been coming here for over 40 years…Bobby and Faith are the sweetest couple and are always glad to see us….we love to eat there because we see all of our friends there…..they all know that it’s the ONLY PLACE TO GET BBQ THAT TASTES FANTASTIC……we will see y’all this week. Our go to local barbecue place - the chipped meat is unlike other barbecue places but always good, very great service, other options are always nice, such as the baked potato, and banana pudding is good as well
6 out of 5 stars!Came into Columbus, GA for work and woke up starving. I found The Smokey Pig from a suggestion on my GPS and figured I would try it out. I showed up right as the owner, Robbie, was opening up at 10am. He was very cool and friendly. Let me try some of the meats he had on the open smoke rack while I was getting my bearings and deciding on what to eat. The place was clean and has a good amount of seating. The food: oh Lord, THE FOOD!! It was phenomenal. I had the chipped pork BBQ sandwich with their signature BBQ sauce and two sides: baked beans and homemade Brunswick stew. I got a second sandwich. I had to. Then he mentioned the chilled banana pudding and I was sold. All told with a Large fountain drink I spent 24$ (including tip) and I had half of it devoured before I left the parking lot. Spread the word: THE SMOKEY PIG BBQ is the best BBQ in Columbus, maybe even all of GA. Enjoy! ?
Parking: There is plenty of parking but If you're bringing family and friends, maybe carpool.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility with no need for ramps or stair accommodations. I did not check the bathrooms.

I was there in the summer of 2022 and it was incredible, the owner showed us the fire place and was very kind allowing us to try pieces of meat that we had not ordered.
