I’ve never left a review before, but this place is so poorly operated that I feel the need to speak up. I used to work at a Sonic in Louisiana, and we were one of the top five in the state for quick service. Coming here to the Sonic in Columbus was a complete shock. The microphone at the drive-thru cracks in and out, and it’s almost impossible to understand what anyone is saying. When I tried to respond, they just yelled back, making the whole situation feel uncomfortable. Many of the stalls don’t work, and the staff is consistently rude.
The food always takes forever to come out, and by the time I get it, it’s cold. The worst part is the way the employees talk to customers like we’re the problem. I’m honestly surprised this location hasn’t been shut down for such poor service. On top of all that, I had to spend half my break just waiting for them to acknowledge me, and then when my order finally came out, they tell me they don’t accept tap payments. This should’ve been communicated either through the intercom or with a sign, not after I’ve wasted my entire lunch break. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Speakers were broken. Tots were to salty to eat and the onion rings tasted like vanilla. Employees seemed nice but not happy the extra work because of broken equipment. Place is a dump.

The night before Thanksgiving, I went here to buy ice. That's all. I pushed the button and no one acknowledged me. About 10 minutes passed by and I see all of the employees including the manager, come out of 2 cars behind me with big thick white clouds of smoking pouring out of the cars as they exited. They came back into the sonic, got another customers drink order, gave it to them and then went back into the cars, refusing to acknowledge me even when I rolled down my window to try and get their attention. They just walked right by me and wouldn't say anything nor would they even look in my direction. I pushed the button again because, now I knew there were people there, where as before I was looking in the store and saw no one, I activated the button for the 2nd time and they ignored me again. Refused to speak, no one said anything and they all went back into the cars and continued to smoke l vape(?) some more. I'm thoroughly frustrated and I did call Sonic customer service and make a complaint.

My daughter ordered a smash burger and got a regular hamburger. Went back to get the right burger. The manager ? Came out and was extremely rude. We left without a resolution and she didn't get to eat. Calling corporate today!
