They have the best tacos in town. Food always comes out fast and it is always hot and fresh. You have to wait a second to eat the tacos lol. The brisket sometimes seems a little dried out. But still full of flavor. I haven't had anything bad from them. Great spot for lunch.

The food is pretty good, but both times I've gone, they've left off food. The steak tacos just had meat. No onions or cilantro. When I got the flautas, it was just flautas with cheese sauce. No side lettuce or cilantro or pico like the picture depicts. The steak quesadilla and California burritos were good.

Best authentic Mexican food in Columbus GA. Pulled up today for the first time. Los Tigre’s Del Norte playing. Hispanic girl taking the orders. Got the California Burrito. Closest thing to a burrito from Mexico or California BY FAR in this area. AND it was HUGE. I’ll be back. THANK YOU
Terrible customer service. The employees seemed miserable and could benefit from being more friendly and welcoming. I also overheard them speaking Spanish, making inappropriate comments to one another — completely unprofessional.
To top it off, the cheese was inedible, tasting as if it were made from play-doh. Don’t waste your time here.

I am originally from Chicago and adjusting to the subpar Mexican food in Georgia has been one of the hardest parts of living down here for 15 years. I RARELY eat at the same Mexican restaurant more than once or twice and I eat Mexican food A LOT… however, Taco El Paisa has changed that. Since discovering this spot a few months ago, I have eaten there 10+ times.
This is an authentic Mexican restaurant and is NOT the kind of food that is geared towards the gringos so don’t come here expecting a flavorless, unseasoned, spice-less meal. It is freshly made and has a good amount of spice and flavor. I usually get a veggie burrito which is huge, filled with beans, rice, cheese, guacamole and veggies. It comes out piping hot and freshly made.
This place is always packed and seems to be busy at all times of day and all days of the week, especially during lunch, dinner and late nights on weekends.
This will be my main Mexican spot so long as I am living in Middle Georgia.
