This is one of a few restaurants in town we have gone back to multiple times. Their food is absolutely delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. You can dress down or up. They also have a patio area out back. My husband loves them tomato soup and grilled cheese, and I like the braised beef pasta and chicken fried chicken. You really can't go wrong.
We ended up here because we didn't want to wait a long time at Black Cow, and we are glad we tried it!

Service was on point. Atmosphere was pleasant. Food, yea not so much. The snapper was bland, dry, and cooled too fast to have been cooked fresh. Tomato soup, canned at best. Sourdough bread was the best part of the grilled cheese. But the grits....AWFUL. Southern grits should be creamy, not crunchy. Should hold themselves together and never be eaten with a fork. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately the ribeye was a huge disappointment, especially with the right at $50 price tag. I felt like my entire dish had zero salt which is the base of flavoring, especially when it comes to steaks. The sweet potato was good though. We also ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was pretty good. Drinks and our server were probably the best overall parts of our meal.
Kid-friendliness: Had to sit on patio which is fine but the closest heater wasnt functional.

The Animal Farm is amazing. Our waitress (Andrea) was super friendly and brought water out for our puppy without asking. The food was outstanding. I have traveled throughout Georgia and this has been the best southern food I have ever had. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was extremely nice and appreciative of us giving compliments. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Banana Pudding!!

The service was impeccable with Shamri and the whole team, from host to kitchen. The atmosphere was clean and quaint. They also have a seating area in the back that is lush and green, which is so relaxing and inviting! I will definitely be back the next time I am in town! Thank you AF for getting it right!

Food is OUTSTANDING. Was in town on business, friends took me here, as is their favorite place. Did not disappoint! We went for brunch, I had the fried chicken over biscuits with gravy n over easy eggs and a side of grits. I wanted Georgia on a plate, I got it! Biscuits were fluffy with a great crust on the outside, chicken crispy and juicy...grits were thick, and cheesy, not watery and soupy...The coffee was also EXCELLENT! The server told me they get their coffee from Fountain City right there in Columbus. I've already ordered coffee from their online store. I ate at numerous places on my trip, Animal Farm was BY FAR the best!

Casual but upscale atmosphere. Great service. Our waiter was professional and knowledgeable while simultaneously giving off a "we're all just hanging out having a good time" vibe. I had the braised beef sammy, so good! Interesting drink menu. Tried the 'fall mule' carrot juice, fall flavored syrup with a rye whiskey.
