Our first restaurant in Columbus and it did not disappoint. All delicious.

The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. My only issue is that I got more than one bite of bones on both of my sandwiches, the chicken and the rib. Otherwise, I would give them a 5-star rating.

In May, on a trip from 🇨🇦 to Columbus GA to see our son play baseball, Go Clingstones, my wife and I stopped at The Emeralds Touch BBQ on our last day to tried their Brisket, which was melt in your mouth 5+. On the many trips down south in the different cities and states, I always find different BBQ places to try the local brisket. On this trip, Emeralds didn't disappoint on so many levels. It was the best Brisket in Columbus and one of the top 2 or 3 brisket I have ever had. But at Emeralds it doesn't stop there, from the greeting of the grandson with the wide inviting smile upon entering and ordering, to the friendly greetings from the son and Mrs Powell, to the owner and Pit Master Powell himself coming out to engage me in conversation, at first about cooking Brisket tips which were very helpful, then onto a great conversation on our share love for Jesus. This was an amazing Blessing to the end of our trip. God Bless y'all!

This is hands down some of the best Brisket I've ever had. The pitmaster is an amazing man with a gift for BBQ. His whole crew focuses on attention to detail, from beginning to end, focusing on freshness, texture, sauce, and presentation. The pitmaster even brought each of us a sample of his stew - which was amazing. This is BBQ and ribs well worth sampling.
