The Flying Biscuit Cafe

Waitress ran my card for twice the amount of our food. When she realized the error, the assistant manager said to check for a refund in 5-7 days from my bank. I asked for a confirmation # or transaction ID to confirm that it was refunded/voided on their end. She said only the GM can do it and he was not at the store at the moment. I offered to wait, then she said he was out of town for the rest of the day but would get the info as requested from him. Then she said there is no such thing as what I was asking for. She showed me someone else’s payment information but not mine. The food was good but beware, they are not careful with card information and will charge you incorrectly and then put it on you to fix it with your bank. Sounds like they are running the card scam…

Barely any hollandaise sauce on eggs Benedict, asked for extra was charged for a mini sauce cup that had 1 spoonful of sauce
When I asked for more, the manager was very rude, said I already had extra. Service was very slow
$1.50 for a spoonful of hollandaise sauce
And rudeness for asking
Crap service and rude management

I had some granddaughters with me and they really liked the garage atmosphere. The food was really good although the portions were small. They really had good coffee. My family would probably give them a five I guess I’m not that generous.

We had the best experience here! The food was wonderful (perfect flavor, consistency, temperature and portion). Our server, Jennifer was awesome. So friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and checked on us often. We will definitely be back! Also, very clean environment and awesome atmosphere (we loved the character of the place and the murals).

Grits are fantastic!! Creamy, salted, not too cheesy. My friend had the potatoes which were also amazing.
I had the three amigos breakfast tacos. They are supposed to be eggs scrambled with chorizo, but the chorizo was imperceptible except for a little paprika coloring in the eggs. Very bland.

They have the absolute best grits! Coming back from North Carolina we held off getting breakfast for 4 extra hours just to have breakfast at the flying biscuit 😋
