Asked for an “O bomb”. Bartender looked at me like I was crazy. She had no idea what it was, scoffed when I said it again and then got upset because I didn’t tip her based on her lack of respect and bar knowledge. To the angry girl working the bar… if you’re gonna be a bartender please know how to make one of the easiest drinks known to mankind, without getting upset. They said it was under new management, but to be honest it’s just as lame, disorganized, and boring as always. It’s Columbus, GA. Don’t expect much lol

Uptown Tap really took care of me and my emo friends — like a daycare for grown adults wearing too much black. They kept us hydrated, and mildly supervised while we processed our feelings in the corner. A supportive environment for degenerates with good music taste.”

On Halloween, It was a Dump to say the least noisy bartender waitress was talking to her friends the entire time it was unattended.

I was looking forward to spending some time here, but I am leaving unbelievably disappointed. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Their employees were so rude from the moment my party showed up, starting with the bouncers and continuing with the bartenders. I was not enjoying the DJ’s music and of the bartenders encouraged me to spend money on the Touch Tunes app to play some songs we’d enjoy, seeing that my party was sitting outside. I paid to have songs played and he then informed me that the Touch Tunes only plays inside, and the DJ plays outside. Why would you do that? I hope those few bucks was worth that. After that we were confronted with an obnoxious female bartender who was hateful to us. It honestly felt as though they thought we were too old to be in their establishment (I’m 30). I am just flabbergasted and cannot imagine being so awful to a patron. I am going home, feeling disrespected and taken advantage of.

I am floored at the total LACK of customer service at this establishment! The female bar tender/waitress was totally RUDE to our party of 5.
We ordered drinks at the bar, and we were asked if we wanted to open a tab. We did. No one asked us for a credit card. We would have been happy to provide one if we’d been asked.
A few minutes later, the female walked over to our table (which was one of the FEW w patrons) and RUDELY ordered, “Somebody needs to come PAY FOR these drinks!” Ok.
We had NO intention of skipping out- 5 professional women -2 of which are small business owners- …use your manners! Show some politeness. Ask nicely and we will gladly do what is required.
Where is the customer service!?! NONE of us will EVER go back. Don’t waste your time with this place! They don’t deserve your business.

Spent a wonderful afternoon in The Tap it was a hot day so it was good to sit in a nice cool adult atmosphere listening to to my favorite jukebox selections while be treated to to some fabulous cocktails by my new favorite bartender Jody. I can't say enough about Jody's personality and one on one service. I highly recommend her for a Saturday afternoon if you need a go to spot. She is quick and provides service with a smile.

Honestly drinks are super affordable and it’s an amazing time overall. The pours are not light so pace yourself accordingly!

This place is obnoxious. I am in Columbus, GA for a week for the Southeast Trombone Symposium, a conference where us college kids get to learn from some of the best trombonists in the world, and our experience has been ruined by this inconsiderate bar making it physically impossible to sleep. It is 1:15 on a Friday morning, and they are still blasting music. They did this last night too. I have noise canceling headphones on and I can still hear it. It is impossible to learn from the people we each paid almost $1000 to go learn from if we are falling asleep in the masterclasses and presentations because we couldn't sleep the night before. TURN YOUR DAMN MUSIC DOWN PLEASE!

Poor service. Staff not very knowledgeable or attentive. Smelly, musty atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, bartenders are very personable. Megan is quick with drink and an absolute delight to converse with! Will definitely come back!
