This place is nostalgic to many of us and my family has always been team Veri Best! Their style of donut is my personal favorite. It lands somewhere between cake and your traditional airy donuts. Its got real bite to them as well as size, these things are huge!

Someone needs to tell the young man who waited in me that an apple fritter is NOT an Applebest. I asked specifically if they had apple fritters and he responded that they did, then he proceeded to give me 6 Applebests. I didn't see what he was putting in the box and I didn't check the box right away, so that part is my fault. Applebests are nothing at all like apple fritters and don't have anything to do with apples at all. They are fried dough rectangles that are glazed. Mine was inedible, btw.

These are my most favorite donuts in town!!! Always fresh and tasty without being too sweet. I love that the filled donuts actually have a good amount of filling. In fact, I'm going to get some Lemon filled right now! 🥰

The best donuts I have ever had. I was so sad when they closed, but was so excited when they open up. I love everything they sell, but my favorites are the cinnamon rolls and Twist, guess because it's more of it. My only regret is they close early and run out of the cinnamon roll and twist.

Loved the Veri Best Donuts since they were right off of  Talbotton Road and 27th St. and Cusseta Road before it was on Macon Rd 🍩 then downtown 💕 They are the best donuts around ❤️(aunt hip)
Very accommodating. They offered hot chocolate today. I asked them if they could mix some in my coffee for me & they did. There was a little bit of a line but they handled if well & in a timely manner. Even offered ordering at the second window. They had a great selection of donuts. Which was great. Will definitely be back & recommend to family & friends
I have never been to the new place. But, I have so many fond memories of the old place. My daddy use to bring me with him when he would make a donut run to the original Very Best Donunt. Set me up on the little ledge while he made his order. I absolutely loved their donuts. My favorite was the cinnamon twist. YUMMY!!! I live in Kansas now and truly nothing compares. If I ever make it back to Columbus, I'm coming in for a twist.

I have ordered from here serval times and each time they are always so amazing! I love the seasonal sprinkles always give a simply perfect donut that much better! I recommended their ALL of there pastries. Superior all around!
These are truly the best donuts in Columbus, and the best I have had since I moved to Georgia. We found this place during a Saturday at the open air market. Seeing the name of the shop, I figured as a donut aficionado that I would be the judge; They did not disappoint! In fact I have been three times in the past 10 week, even risking missing church to stop by early on a Sunday morning. I love the twist. They are perfect and the hint of cinnamon takes them over the top. They ship is on a main drag, but being Columbus you can get in and out quickly so it's not an issue. I have two other options closer, but I spend the extra 5 minutes to get my money's worth.
